Here is my first attempt at creating a GIF animation using Xara. What do you think do you like it?
Also I was looking for a Animation section in the forum - Didn't locate one. If I am missing it please let me know.

Well done. Had to watch a while before I caught the ginger bread man winking.
The only animation section is the old Flash director under the graphics chat.

OP's claims are for the animation creation, not the drawing. I didn't really give it much thought but I can see how the comment was written and how you read it.
I did a similar thing on the Xara Discord channel, I put up a few graphics for some nightclubs and now I'm thinking 'Oooh, I hope they don't think I drew everything from scratch'.

I used Xara Photo & Graphic Designer.
It won't let me add the whole animation file ( It must be to large ) Here is the .xar file the Ginger Bread Girl for you to see if you are new to GIF animations or anyone that would just like to see it.

That's great Jeff. One suggestion re reducing file size. The only thing that animates is the wink. So apart from the winking eye there's no need for the rest of the ginger-bread man on all the remaining animation frames. So create your Ginger-bread man on the first layer (apart from the winking eye) and hit the background layer icon for this layer. All the other layers only require the eye shapes to animate. I attach an amended .xar file displaying this. If you uncheck the background icon on the top layer you can then scroll through the layers to view only this eye. I've changed the background colour to be able to view the white eyes.

Thanks for that Fred, missed that. By the way if you click on the post #6 link on the top right of that thread reply and then Ctrl+C the url you can then Ctrl+V to link to that post from the post number (#6), not the entire thread.
