Cannot insert a paypal button

On our website (ww.assumptionabbey.com) we had a PayPal Donate button, but this has stopped working.
I got new code several times and tried to edit the widget with no success.
I now waant to delete the widget and start over,. But I am not the one who originally built this site and I do not know how to do this.

Can someone please give me step-by-step directions that a LION with big fat furry paws can follow.

The button in question is the 'donate button' on page assumptionabbey.com/index-donations

The PayPal Donate button is working but maybe not how it should. It takes me to a PayPal page instead of a donation form.

I would go to the PayPal site and sign in with your account and format and create the button on the PayPal site.

Then copy the embed code and paste it into a placeholder.
