I'm running Version 16 Web Designer Premium and got an update notification from Xara in the last month or so . On my Windows 10 laptop, it updated just fine but I get an error message every time on the Win 7 Desktop. The error message says "This program is blocked by group policy. For more information contact your administrator"

Is your version of Windows 7 64-bit?
Dropbox is not relevant.
For your Win7 install, I suggest you download from this page: https://www.xara.com/uk/web-designer/download/.
Then right-click and run as Administrator.
If your Win7 laptop is 32-bit, you cannot do anything as Xara has dropped 32-bit.

Thanks for the suggestions. I can confirm my computer system is 64 bit so I'll try the suggestion by Acorn. I have submitted a ticket to Magix but no solution suggested yet.
Another update - the download from the site suggested by Acorn has worked and the problem is resolved!! Many thanks again.
