Fixed gradient background -> transparent image no longer transparent scrolling up
Hi all,
when I have a fixed gradient backgound and scroll up, transparent images suddenly get a background, are no longer transparent.
Do you know if there is any workaround? Or am I making some basic mistake here?
I put a simple example online: fixed-gradient-background
It looks like this scrolling up:
Thanks for your help!

Heh heh. I see what is happening. Looks like a feature. ;) The images are being converted to JPEG which do not support transparency. So as long as the page does not scroll everything looks fine.
You might try this. Right click on the image, and select Optimize Photo. Select PNG > TrueColor + Alpha. I think that will do the trick.

OR with the image selected go Web Properties / Image / Web Image Type & select PNG.

Gary and Egg,
I'd never had thought of a .png being made into a .jpg, but that's just the way the software works - now, everything makes sense again =D>
Setting the image back to .png works fine!
