(Probably) daft newbie question...
Hi,
I've only just started trying out Xara Photo & Graphic designer 7, so please bear with me if this is a daft question! :o I was just having a play when I accidentally clicked something and my image suddenly went white with just thin black lines - kinda like some sort of outline mode? Unfortunately, I'm not sure what I clicked, and I can't get the picture back to its gaudy full colour self. I've tried looking through the help files, but not knowing what I clicked, it's hard to know what to look for!
Please can anyone tell me how to get the image back to normal, and what it was that I clicked to crud things up in the first place? Duh!
Thanks,
Ailsa

This is the photo tool (see Camera icon is depressed) and dragging with the mouse cursor will crop the image to the area 'dragged'.
Whenever things like this happen, just press CTRL+Z to 'undo' the step/s
To move or re size your image, press F2 to enable the selector tool.

Re: (Probably) daft newbie question...
I don't have Photo & Graphic designer 7, but in Designer Pro 7, you have a 'Set View Quality' slider.

If you move it to the left, it changes the drawing/picture from

to this

Move it to the right and everything is back to normal.

Hi Ailsa, welcome to Talkgrahics.
It sounds to me as though you have changed the View Quality to Outline Mode.
If the View Quality slider is to the left you will be in Outline Mode, slide it back to the right to High Quality Mode.

Re: (Probably) daft newbie question...
Ailsa your screen grab shows you have the view quality slide to the left which is Outline View.
Simply drag the slider to the the far right to return to High Quality View.
Re: (Probably) daft newbie question...
Whoops, have had a couple of replies in the time I took to do my screenshot!
Yes, it was the quality slider. All sorted now.
Thanks very much!

Re: (Probably) daft newbie question...
Hi Ailsa.
I can see in your picture that the problem is exactly what I and Bill have explained.
I can see your slider is all the way to the left.
EDIT: OK. You've seen it now!
