Position on page - footer - Where is the right click menu?
Loosing my mind. Trying to set an object to position on the page as footer. But I can find the setting. (i have done this many time in the past, just can't remember how/where)
Here is the Instructions:
How can I control object positioning on a page?
If you right click on an item, there is a new Position on Page menu with the following options:
Fixed - the position of the object remains at its set x and Y value even when resizing the page.
Footer - This will keep the items at the same relative position to the bottom edge of the page as the page is enlarged or reduced.
I am right clicking on a rectangle and don't see the Positon on Page menu.
HELP please (and be kind, I know this is just something I forgot)

Ack. I have Designer Pro X 15 and I don't find this option. Lemme see if I can get some explanation for this.
Re: Position on page - footer - Where is the right click menu?
Eric,
The Position on Page has now been replaced by the Auto-Fit-to-Page option ;) However, whilst the new option has more control I'd still prefer the title Position on Page was retained.

Many Thanks to you Egg. I was aware of the new Auto-fit that was added but had no idea it replaced the very simple and easy to use top and footer page position controls. I had even read the help since that is the first article when searching footer page positon, but not realized it was a change.

I guess this comes under the heading of Win Some Lose Some Dept.
That said, looking at the options we appear to have won more than we lost.
