Looking for a post on how to implement cookies

Hi all...

I do not like cookies, however, I would like to have some idea about the about the few 10's of visiters who might visit my site. Eg what directed them there.

Rather than expecting you to tell me how to implement a simple cookie magement system. I'm just asking if there are any resorces I can find to help me figure it out myself.

I can get the code from Google to manage the tracking etc but I want to implement a yes/no option. Actally not be a pain in the butt and force it on people.
