SPASMOIDS Record Poster

After helping my daughter with all of her end of marking period projects and tests, I was feeling a bit burnt out. So, after taking a much needed break and catching up on some of the sleep I lost, I decided it was time to jump back in the saddle and play around with XXP before my skills became too rusty. I didn't have any real goal in mind, so I just went with the 'flow'. As usual, this started out as something totally different, but, I like how it looked in the end.

The fruit of my labor was a poster for a (hopefully) fictitious band called the SPASMOIDS. With tunes like 'Havin' a Retro-Fit', 'Stop, Drop, & Soul', 'Tongue Whip-Lash', 'Carnival Craving', and 'Love Beats (Me)' there's no doubt in my mind that the group will be an overnight sensation. ;) The album is to be released only on vinyl so be sure to pick one up in a record store near you, real soon (or not!).

Very nice! It reminds me of long ago days when my friends and I would go after school to the local record store and flip through large racks of vinyl LPs
