Web Designer Premium problems
I have web designer premium 18 on my laptop and it works perfectly.
I then went off the same email details and installed it on my other computer.
It installed correctly on my other computer but unfortunately when I go to insert from the content catalog it keeps telling check my internet connection.
My internet connection is working perfectly.
I have been using Web Designer for quite a few years now and have built several websites so I do understand the program.
looking forward to some answers.

Hi neighbour.
A nice simple one to start with. Try Right-clicking the shortcut and choose Run As Administrator. You only need to do this once.

Hello Lyn - Just to add to Chris's excellent advice. Close Web Designer first, then right click on the program icon and select Run as Administer.
This frequently clears a myriad of small problems as as mentioned, you only need to do this once and it will either work or it won't.

Hi Folks
Thank you for your very quick replies and suggestions.
I had already clicked run as administrator.
I can open the content catalog and pick an item, but when I import it this is the message I get.Attachment 131113
Re: Web Designer Premium problems
could be firewall or other security software on this computer is blocking the program's access to the network

I think the issue is the file type, svg.
Xara has had download issues from Pixabay on a number of occasions and you might have fallen foul of one.
You can use Pixabay directly and access the graphic that way.

Agree. Had an svg that didn’t download as well. Egg indicated you may try to download directly from pixabay, or try to download a jpeg and see what happens. I found I could import a jpeg, but not svg.
