I'm sorry Acorn but I also get meta name="Generator" content="Xara HTML filter v.9.4.0.17
Thank you for confirming.
This is baffling. I don't magic code out of thin air so who is playing mind games here?
This is the site I am viewing:

Acorn, you're not crazy. I had the same source code on that site.

Inspect shows it is built using Xara, but I don't have an explanation why your search suggests otherwise.
It's not a search but a Ctrl+U command (or, right-click + 'View Page Source'). In Chrome, by the way.
It might be a difference in IP4 and IPv6 addressing.
I am getting served from a 1&1 Internet AG (united-internet.org) IPv6 address of:2001:8d8:100f:f000::28d, Karlsruhe, Baden-Württemberg, Germany
Perhaps there is a different IP4 address in play?
Acorn
I am not as savvy as you Acorn so would not begin to understand IP4 or IPv6 addressing, but when I right click in chrome and click source code I get that it was created in XARA no understanding of why you might get otherwise but definitely created with XARA.Attachment 127215
This is quite strange. If I view the site I get the following:
However Joe & Gary appear to be getting:Quote:
"Generator" content=ARMARIOS IKONO®
Quote:
"Generator" content="Xara HTML filter v.9.4.0.17
Thought using a different browser might change things so tried Firefox, Edge and IE same all three I get generated with XARA
