Page length cannot be adjusted by (blue dot line)
I’m rebuilding a few things on this site. Www.larrykrause.ca.
In the desktop variant I cannot shorten the length of the page by moving the blue dot line upwards. The iPhone variant is fine, but I’ve got a ton of space below the footer on the larger variant.
I do not, and have not used any push functions, or automatic fit functions. Can’t seem to solve this one. I recently added the footer to see if would make any difference. It did not. Many thanks to all the helpful people the board.

Check to see if [ ] All pages in document the same is checked. If so, try un-checking it.

Thanks Gary. That was all unchecked to begin with.

Page is set to web document, and lock page is unchecked.
This one is a stumper Gary.
The page background is a graphic that I’ve cobbled together but I don’t think that’s got anything to do with it.
And I also discovered that I can’t adjust the page length in the mobile variant either.
I’ve gone thru every single page option And unchecked anything that could influence changing the page length.
Just can’t figure this one out.

Perplexing. Try this, create a new web document. Copy one of the pages (right click, Copy Page) then go to the new document and Paste > Paste Page.
Now can you adjust the depth of the page?
Re: Page length cannot be adjusted by (blue dot line)
Attach you web/xar file here Bill.
Re: Page length cannot be adjusted by (blue dot line)
Tried that too Gary. No dice. @eggbramhill. Will do Egg.

Bill, no problem
Three steps:
- Copy your master XAR/WEB and only work on that.
- Delete all unwanted pages (one at a time).
- Save (and rename) the "degenerate" file.
- Reply in TG and pick the Go Advanced button.
- Click the paperclip icon (Attachments > Add Files > Choose File)
- Navigate to the location of the file you want to upload to TG.
- Click Upload > Insert Inline.
- Close the File Upload Manager window.
- Complete your Post.

Re: Page length cannot be adjusted by (blue dot line)
Bill,
I could adjust the page length from the "blue-dotted-line" - but your page background image extended past the bottom of the page in the desktop and mobile versions.
Remove the repeat on all pages for the Page image. As you then add a page, the page image carries over and correctly adjusts to the length of the page. If you already have lots of pages then its a manual adjustment.
Couple of observations: (1) Not sure why you had your Tea & Picks layer lower than the MouseOff layer and (2) You have 2 three-button menus - would just one not work?
When I added a new page with repeat turned-off it worked correctly.
Hopefully this helps?

Re: Page length cannot be adjusted by (blue dot line)
Bill (and thanks to Gary too)
- Unlock the Page background and the two Repeating Groups.
- Change he RGs to not repeat.
- Resize both Rectangles back to the page background size.
- Switch to the Fill Tool and with Shift held down select the end vertical control and stretch up to get you repeat display back to what you need. This is where you probably came unstuck.
- Only lock the Page background.
All the Text and pics should be in the MouseOff layer with T&p deleted.
If you are not using sub-menus, change the two NavBars to buttons.
- Separate both slightly.
- Ungroup to edit buttons for both.
- Reselect all buttons and Create NavNar, picked the bottom options. Stop at this point if you want a combined NavBar.
- Otherwise, Ungroup to edit buttons.

@initiostar and @acorn
Lots to work on, and thanks so much. Had a feeling it had to do with the page background. Client had a drawing from a distance relative and I had to repeat the heck out of it.
