Change size of pasteboard/background area.

I design my graphics artworks in the context of the mechanical front plates and bezels that they live on.
The problem I have is that I loose the bottom of the outlines as the go beyond the page edge as they sit under the page below, so there is no space to place dimensions.

Is it possible to increase the size of pasteboard/background area so the page has a larger distance between the page boundaries.

My current work around is to use a 100x by 100y offset as my 0,0
What would make life easier would be to be able to have 0,0 central on the page, and have symmetrical +/- locations, which is what I do in my a CAD packages.

right click on the pateboard and untick multiple page view - that will enable you to see but you will lose sight of the other pages

and you can change the origin point by dragging out the X at the top left where the two rule bars meet, if that helps ?

and sometimes relearn what you once knew but forgot, in my case anyway - glad it helped :)

… and/or to got more place to scrol the pasteboard, increase the outer margins.
In my example I increase it to 1000 mm.

WOW, now that is exactly what I have been looking for.
That deserves "like"ing and "Reputation", but sadly this forum doesn't recognise such responses.

The setting stays across all pages.
Not sure how you would restore it back to the bot L.H. corner without guide lines set there to "magnetically" land on, which fortunately I had set.

if you have 'snap to objects' enabled you should be able to snap it to the page edge/corner
