Re: Image filename problem
[not email]123@2x.jpg is for retina devices. You should have both 123.jpg and [not email]123@2x.jpg in your exported folder :)
Re: Image filename problem
Naming images as a number is a very poor idea.

That was just an example
What I do not like is the way that Xara renames the image with @x2

A bad example! Never use numbers as names

The @2x version is the retina resolution version of the image. The @2x is a standard convention for double-density variants of images.
You should also have the original.

Re: Image filename problem
If you don't want to include hi res images, the ones with the @x2 title, go to Web Properties / Website / Untick the Retina (hi def) images.

... and the reason for this is Xara applications generate image filenames using a sequential numbering system that might conflict with a used-defined filename that was a number...
Were it bad generally, you would be damning Xara's approach.

..I think it's a bad idea even if Xara does it.
Even Patrick McGooghan agreed.

Disagree, the only number clash was for No 2s!

Re: Image filename problem
It's rare to hear such problems, maybe it's just because of your default settings, which makes your renaming photos that way.

Are you spamming? You list no Xara products in your profile. If you did use Xara products for web design, you would know that Xara automatically renames image files to numbers, so your tutorial link (which contains a glaring typo "Step1. Click "Next Step" to editing window, then click "Renmae" tab to rename all of your images in seconds.") is not appropriate to this discussion.
If you used Xara products you would know how to ensure a named image retains its name when published.
Please restrict your tutorial links to those appropriate to the products being discussed.
Re: Image filename problem
Excuse me, Mr. Force. Your post #1 on this thread has a nonsensical email link, which I removed.
You're welcome.
