I'm trying to design a logo, and I'm hitting the wall with being able to have the text under the curve, but inverted, so I can read it. I would like the text under the curve, as I may not have another curve under the logo border. Take a look, and you can see what I mean about the text
Scrap my post below - just twigged you need text under the circle! Gary and Egg have it covered :-)
Hello AK
Probably many better ways to do this but I:
1) created circle like your inner one
2) create seperate text line 'Niagra Giants'
3) selected both then choose Arrange -> fit text to curve
4) created outer orange circle and put to back
I also used rotate on the circle and adjusted the text's baseline.

Like this? If so Flip Vertically, Flip Horizontally.

Re: How to invert text writing under a curve
Once the text is fitted to the curve or the circle, you can turn it in a circular motion, if that's what's desired.
And you can right-click and choose 'Reverse Text on Curve'
You should be able to get the desired result by doing one, or the other, or both.

Never knew there was a reverse text on a curve Rik. New one on me. It automatcally changes the ellipse to a shape. Learn something new every day :)

Re: How to invert text writing under a curve
I always have problem using reverse text on a curve (it drives me crazy) if you move the text it does remain aligned, I'm attaching a xar file, try to move the text and see how circles missalign.
Pay attention to distance between t and inner circle after and before moving the text.
Best regards.

Re: How to invert text writing under a curve
I found the problem, it appears when you instead moving the text, rotate the circle.
Best regards.

Re: How to invert text writing under a curve
It's fairly straight forward to explain why. If you 'fit text to a curve', in your case a circle, say 200px x 200px, if the text fits outside the circle (or is lower case with characters protruding below the base line) the text plus the circle is no longer of equal dimensions & the centre of rotation is no longer in the centre of the circle.
Here's how to avoid this:
EDIT: Just saw you've found a solution, which works equally as well :)

Wow Egg terrific explanation, I didn't realize to look the rotation signal, you're right that's the problem.
Thank you very much for your time, You know fit text isn't something you use everyday I hope to remember the tips next time, this matter got me ungry many times.
Best regards and again thank you so much
