Tonight I put together a cool new ride. My Xara Ride. This is my first project that I have done in the new Xara designer Pro 11. Hopefully the first of many. I hope that you all like it. I attached a wireframe for you also.

Beautiful. I would have expected that to be a 3D render not a 2D program. Excellent.
The back wheel looks a little funky to me. Why can I see the rim, top left of the rear wheel? The tyre doesn't look exactly round.
Thank you Pauland. That's a great compliment. I got the NEW Xara 3D rendering Designer Pro 11. Many people think it's only a 2D program. I think not. :)
The Wheel is not round but I added some reflections and shading where the wheel passes through the frame. I think that help a bit.

Absolutely Gorgeous Paul. Love the design. You are a brilliant designer.
I agree with Paul(and). You shouldn't be able to see any of the left hand rim on the rear wheel.
Better be careful, that's a Disney copyright image  Up to the Mods to decide the risk

It's fair use as long as Paul is not trying to sell the image.
I had no idea it was an exact copy of an existing design.
Interestingly, the Disney image has exactly the same light edge on the wheel.
Paul you did an amazing job on the image, but I'd feel happier knowing upfront if it's based on an existing design or not - I thought you'd designed the whole thing yourself.
I was going to correct Wizard on the fact that I did not design this image, but as I read on, I see that I did not have to. I do apologies for the confusion. Usually I do mention that I'm redrawing the image as I do in 90% of my post. I was up late working on this on and did not think about it when I posted it. My claim to fame is not designing, but rather my ability to reproduce the image with the same sense of realism as the original artwork. EX, The GT3, 3D Glass Ball... Many of the pieces that I do are are my rendition of images produced in 3-D imaging software. I do not have the information about the Artist that produced the images because most of them come from free wallpaper apps on my iPad. In fact, I did not know this was a Disney image that I redrew. (not that it's matters, but I would have noted it in my post) The copyright was not on the image that I was referencing. The group of Artist that I started off with tried drawing anything that we could find in Xara. Cars, phones, PS Tuts, Pepole, Just about anything you can think of. I continue in the same tradition. I like to push the limits of what can be done in Xara.
A note to zaphodeist, I know that you meant well, but I believe posting a copyright image on TG is agents TG policies. Inadvertently you put TG at the same risk that you are trying to protect them from. You need to post a link to the image instead of posting the image itself. I had mad that same mistake in the past and the Moderators had to remove the image do to copyright laws. At least that's what I was told. I hope this was helpful. I do want to thank you for posting it though, now they can compare mine to the original.
Sorry again for all the confusion. I hope you still like the image.

Paul I am amazed by this image.
Thank you pauland, I appreciate that.
One cool thing is the ability of seeing your work in other colors. That was one of the main features that impressed me the most about Xara.

Here is another one with some body modifications. It's just a cool image to work with. I hope you like it.

AWESOME design/creativity and Xara workmanship!
Great job Paul!
Beautiful workmanship Paul.
That looks great again, for me the original grey and the yellow-black colour one look the best
Thank you everyone. This was a fun image to work with. Lots of thing that I can do with it. I will put it in my book of possibilities.
Csehz, The nice thing about drawing in Xara is you can make so many changes to one image with named colors and a few gradients. I get my moneys worth with Xara.
Thank again for all your kind comments, They are greatly appreciated.

Here is a new prospective of the new cool ride. Also with the power of named colors. Pretty soon I will be able to develop a Tron city with all the images that I have drawn. I hope you like it.

An interesting note. I was under the impression this was the work of Syd Mead but found this link http://danielsimon.com/galleries/tron-legacy/ tributing this Vintage Light Cycle design illustration by Daniel Simon for Tron Legacy / Disney Studios. 3D model Daniel Simon. © DISNEY... This will give you a little more background of this image. Now upon looking this information up, I found several renderings of this image by different artist. I'm not sure whose image I copied. Lots of images out there.

Tron is much older movie than Tron Legacy, which is fairly recent.
