This is what came to my mind first.
I have taken a bit of liberty and not drawn the scribble, face on.
Hope that's OK with you, Larry?
May I ask why the file is called 'scrubble'??? ;))
OK with me Rik, I like what you did. That is one of the reasons you have such a good reputation on these forums. As for scrubble try as I might I'm all thumbs on the keyboard these days and don't notice when I mess something up. Maybe I need Dragon or something, but, I really don't want to go that way, so, I guess you guys are just stuck with my problem. :o
Larry: Dragons are mythical characters!
I hit the wrong key, many times. Mostly I see the error before sending or posting.
Though there was one recently, which gwp had a bit of fun with!
So, you see, you don't have sole possession of this unique talent.
EDIT: I once had to write quite an important letter. The person's name was John Gibson.
So, I started the letter: Dear Mr Gobson.
Can you imagine, if I had not spotted this mistake?!
Just think of how that reporter felt when he announced Hoobert Heever.
Here's a Fat Pencil.
Your scribble is definitely in there!
=D>=D>=D> That's a beauty Rik! :star:star:star
I could only think of a pyramud Larry ;))
Stygg
well I'd be in the doghouse with Rik if I didn't do something after he asked so nicely in the art forum :)
Nice ones, Stygg and Steve.
That's the beauty of the scribble challenge.
Because, none of those designs came to my mind.
Brilliant.
Good ones, Stygg & handrawn. Glad you contributed.
@ Stygg, I too was thinking of the pyramid shape although mine would be different, maybe even multiple pyramids. Also for what it's worth I can see an umbrella, or one of Leonardo Da Vinci's inventions (not telling which one). Hope I spelled his name right.
I've been working on two other projects, but, maybe I'll put those on hold and do the scribble, just for you guys.
Here ya go. The line is definitely there and is probably obvious.

Wind farm? We used to make these for the front of our cycles.....
Great entries. Reminds me of my school days ....
good ones Penny and Egg.
Thanks for the kind words Rik. From what I understand Leonardo did.

Yes, he invented it, but like the clever man he was he never actually built or tested it ;)
Sorry, write out a hundered lines:
"An equalatral triangle is not the same as a right angle triangle (The 3 angles in non right angle triangles do not add up to 180 degrees). Drop a perpendicular so you have two right angled triangles, then you have:
40 + 90 = 130.
180 - 130 = 50.
2 x 50 = 100 degrees
Therfore x = 100 degrees."
However you were spot on re the lengths a and b
Having said that now someones going to prove me wrong & embarass me.
Okay, now I'm going to embarass myself. Yes all angles in a triangle DO add up to 180 degrees ! It was just your rubbish adding up Rik!

My excuse is it's over 50 years ago that I left school. (Cheap excuse)
I meant to write 100.
This is proof that men can't multi-task.
I should have just concentrated on posting, instead of doing....... as well!
:)
Random attempts...

That's great work, Jonopen.
I've also pleased that you've shown where you used the scribble. Because, Larry wouldn't have believed you!!!
I like those Jonopen, and contrary to what Rik said I do believe it. The only one that is heard to figure out is the star. I also like the way you repeated the scribble to make various shapes. Good work. :D
Don't think you will miss these lines Larry :D
Stygg
No I didn't miss it Stygg, but for a while I thought you had altered the angle of the line, then I finally found it on the 3 tips of the cross. So with that said well done Stygg.
:)
That's the ticket Rik. What a cool idea. =D> I like it
Thanks. :)
