great dwg as always ron
Another great illustration. Especially love the red one; all Ferrairs should be red.
Fine work - a great example showing the importance of reflections to get the shape.
I wish the windshield was see-through, though.
Nicely done Ron as always crisp and clean.
Gorgeous. Rich. Lush.
Awesome Ron. I'd take two but couldn't afford them.
They're fantastic Ron !!!!
Thanks ALL. I should have mentioned that the white one was the old drawing.
I like it in red, Ron.
Like the coupe better Ron. It's in its proper colour.
The red one looks so good.
I'd love to watch a tutorial on how to do work like this.
Thanks Rik, Peter and Nimrodor!
Nimrodor, I appreciate what you're saying, and as there have been requests made to different talents, such as Gray, J. Silva, Mohamed and others, the difficulty arises in drawing cars and planes, etc. There's no one way to draw any given example. For different cars (planes, trains, etc) there is almost always a different approach and different techniques to use based on the subject's individual characteristics. Differing angles, lighting, and shapes require different techniques. There is no one approach fits all.
However, if you wanted to ask, for example, about how to draw a specific part of a vehicle, plane, etc., then that would be a different story.
Sorry I can't give a better response. I have posted my own Xara files in the past for anyone that wants, to have a look.
I'll see if I can't come up with one small tut for one small part of a vehicle.
Very nice work.
I know I am going to get an ear bashing of this but does it come in green..
Nice car, nice shine and unbelievable miles to the gallon.
Really amazing! :-O Love the detail... must've been a lot of work... Can't decide whether I like white or red more:D
I enjoy viewing your art, do you really realize the greatness of your talent ??? :-)
Thanks everyone. Here's the updated version of the car in white.
Top-notch Ron. Really can´t decide between the two.
I can see that it hasn't left the showroom yet.
Beautiful.
Thanks MEB and Rik.
The white looks pretty good too, Ron. Wasn't the original colour of Ferrari , yellow?
Thanks Gray. I've done some research but haven't had much success in finding a REAL authority on 1994 colors for Ferrari.
The attached is not what I would consider an authority but it was the best I could do so far.
There are many more colours than I thought.
I think the yellow goes back to the beginning as the official company colour. It was the colour of the town they started in. Red was the Italian racing colour of the Ferrari.
I won't be fussy though, any colour will do. :)
