I like what you have done. :)
Thanks Frances
It would seem you're the only one out of 60 views.
I'm not sure why I bother.
Most of those post views will be from SE spiders :D

Page width of 1056px is rather unusual, and what is the purpose of the pointing finger on the 'g' logo shown on the website design page?

Nice looking, Gary. Like the simplicity and color scheme.
Front page slider doesn't work using my Android with either Chrome or Opera Mobile. Fails gracefully in that the first image is present. Other maker's flash sliders do work on the phone, though.
Take care, Mike
Same here, although it works fine in Dolphin browser.
Very nice work. I liked it all but the one eyeball made me feel funny. Thanks for helping others learn the processes.
nice effect, is cu3ox a premium effect in v9 or built in?
Very swish.
Nice design, Gary.
One thing you might want to look at is the picture of the Amazing Eye Tricks book on the 3-d stereograms page. It has a rectangle with shadow behind it because it was saved as a .jpeg.
The application for creating the 3D rotation is http://cu3ox.com/. Free with ads. I got it for $17US on promotion.
It is Flash and hence it does not work in mobile devices (a pox on Apple). And this is why I added the eyeball as the first image knowing that this is what will display on Flash challenged devices.
The hand over the g icon is in the web design section.
Boy - good catch. Fixed now.
Thanks for the comments.
Cool. But what is the percentage of people using the Dolphin browser?Quote:
As I said, it works fine on my Android (Samsung S2) phone and using Dolphin browser (Chrome clone).
Very cool Gary, I like it !
As for browsers under Android, I use Chrome for Android most often, or Opera for Android.
I didn't like the Dolphin browser so I uninstalled it. Just personal preference.
I like the facelift Gary. I really love the simple elegance of your web designs, combined with the creative quirks, such as mousing over a black and white image and getting a larger image that is in colour. These are the things that give a site a more professional feeling, and I wish I could do that stuff!
Looks great nice and clean!
Really like the site. The flash cube is very good and really catches my attention. On the pages I would move the text below the thumbnails down to give the site a good feeling of space, seems to be scrunched up there at the moment with a big slab of white beneath it.
I like the design, Gary. I also like Flash, but unfortunately, as you said, "pox" on Apple...but it is what it is. It might be worthwhile to see if you can find an HTML5-type effect that matches the Flash one, so that everyone who visits your site can enjoy the dramatic presentation you created!
Just my two-cents (what would that be in the UK?)

I have no idea. I live in New Mexico. You're probably not aware of us because it's the state the weatherman always stands in front of as he points to Texas, then to Arizona and California. :)Quote:

I do use a product, Visual Slide Show which is non Flash and works in all browsers and devices. But this was such a cool effect and for those with Flash challenged devices, they can see the simple visual.
visualslideshow.com and yes you can add links to each photo if you want. I used it here www.custom-stereograms.com and here www.eyetricks-3d-stereograms.com/mobile
Nice and clean website, i really like it better than the former version of your website :-)
On the logo design site, the mouse over effect on some logos (canela collection or Laney college for example) ist a little bit to high and it hides the text "Mouse over thumbnail to see entire logo" gets affected (for 1 or 2 px I guess)
Good catch Dave. My eyes are getting old. :-O
Nice site! I thought you should know that under the "logo design" header you have "favorite" spelled wrong.
Ah yes, it should be "favourite"... ;-)
So many people make that mistake...
Well, I actually mentioned it because he has "fovorite". (o instead of a)
Yes, I was just being mischievous.
gotcha!
It's not unlike the fact that baseball pitchers can't hit. Designers can't spell.
Beautiful design, very clean and professional.
Thank you and welcome to TalkGraphics reggaewoman
Hey Gary - Site looks good.
I found another slider that has a similar 3d effect as the one you are using but works in HTML5, so no Flash required. If you are interested, here's the demo:
http://codecanyon.net/item/ccslider-...preview/162445
Demo2 has some good examples of the 3d-sliced effect. It's not free, but only $12.
Another one with a the 3d slice look, but doesn't seem to work quite right in IE10 (not sure about other IE versions, as it should be supported):
http://tympanus.net/Development/Slicebox/index2.html
Another that's very similar to the above:
http://alexdunphy.github.io/refineslide/demo.html
Both of these are free.
Hope this helps.
Great recommends. Thanks.
I liked it, everything is simple and clean.
