A Trivial Question - January 2013
What is it?!
Obviously it's a silhouette of the object.
So, you need to work out what it is?
I'm not telling you my age, but, those of my age may well recognise it quite easily!
If you know the answer, then leave a cryptic clue.
That might be an interesting way of saying you know what it is, and still giving others a chance to work out what it is?!

Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
I think Fontella could have done with some help with her Bass notes..
-
Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
I think I get the 'Fontella' reference, Paul.
And if it is what I think you mean, then it sure is cryptic!
-
Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
Well, Fontell is an international star..
-
Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
I'll sent you an email Rik, just as soon as I've closed down FireFox....

Aha!
That makes perfect sense, now!
I hope others do, but, I certainly enjoy looking at all the cryptic clues.

Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
I would have thought her famous song would have made the penny drop!

Unless I've misunderstood your clue (which is perfectly possible) you may have the wrong name there.
So. You'll have to expand a bit further please, Steve.

OK. That gives me a bit of a clue.
But, previously, did you mean 'Fireball' instead of 'Firefox'?
Or, am I really going to kick myself when you explain it all?!

Yes Paul. I did look at what her famous song was, as well.
But, when you mentioned 'International' star, then I knew you had it!

Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
lets not 'fly around the universe' on this one Rik, firefox is perhaps a red herring - you should be looking for something blue that goes with the red and comes from the same place

Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
I am not old enough to remember this stuff BTW :p:D

Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
I think there are quite a few nosy Parkers, wondering what this is all about - they should all go and check their Zodiacs..

Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
Zodiacs? Doesn't that refer to 45? :)
-
Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
this is going to drive me to distraction
-
Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
Steve does all the driving, he has five XL tops to choose from to wear on his journey.
[ I think Gary W is close to calling the people with white coats ]

Thunderbirds, in my opinion, was the best of the bunch that Gerry Anderson created.
International Rescue was there to save anyone and everyone.
The theme music of Thunderbirds was also brilliant.
The opening 25 seconds or so, spoke absolute action, to me.

Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
I went to see the live stage show in London many years ago - that was fun!

Indeed you are right, but I was having a bit of fun following post #14 and #16 .
I think "Five XL tops" was my reference particularly to the series. The Zodiac was also a car.

Are you sure it was a 'Zodia' and not a 'Zephyr'?
You can't tell unless you get close enough, you know! ;))

Re: A Trivial Question - January 2013
