nav bar text out of focus on web, in focus during design

Well I don't have your Xara file to compare, but on my monitor in Chrome it looks ok.
Check all browsers. Possibly you have the zoom level something other than 100%
Press Ctrl+0 to reset the browser.

this pdf shows the difference on ie and ff - which xara file would you like, the whole site (6mb)?

IE looks to be more than 100% zoom, but though the FF is small, it still seems is larger than it should be.
I wonder do you have your windows scaling set to 125% rather than 100% (96dpi).

Xara file = *.xar file

lets 1st go for the win scaling, where do i adjust that?

The only time I can get a result similar to your screen shots is if I zoom in anything about 100% (1:1)
You see, even your Xara screenshot view looks zoomed in, certainly isn't 100%

Just try pressing Ctr+0 when you view the page in FireFox and see if it changes.

Attached is how it looks in a browser with the view setting at 100% - quite small text really, looks like 8 and 9px.

(One other thing, looking at your source I see some text stuffing, the Google Penguin might not like that ;) )

ok, found it in display under control bar - it was on 125%, now its back to 100% [default] - i don't have 20/20 so its a pain, but still the navbar text is blurred if compared to the rest. the .xar is attached

Checking

What you have done by setting your Windows scaling at 125% (to make everything bigger for your own comfort) is you have designed the graphics and formatted your page text sizes so that the text is readable for you *at that scaling*. Because the majority of people viewing your site will be doing so at normal 96dpi 100% this results in very tiny and hard to read text for normal people. (see my screenshot in other post)
The navbars are exported as bitmap buttons so they will never be as sharp as when viewing in the Xara design window as they are still vector fonts.
My advice is to always design websites with your screen set at 96dpi (100% Windows scaling) becuase this is how most people will be viewing it..

For now, I'd certainly reconsider the button colour and text size. Even the body text size would be better larger given the amount there is which you are asking people to read.
