1 November - Xara Xone Designer Pro Tutorial - Fun! Free!
The November Designer Pro Tutorial
The November Xara Xone
Getting your grapes in a bunch. Can be done with older versions of Xara as well, but some tools, keyboard shortcuts, etc. etc. may have changed.
All organic. No pesticides or herbicides were used in the making of this tutorial.
Responses, questions, comments, corrections and suggestions are always appreciated.

CLAP CLAP CLAP CLAP
It's impressive how simple you make complicated things
Thank you very much

I'm looking forward to trying this one! I always like your tutorials they are great for sharpening my skills.

Very good tut Gary, the end result gives a nice soft painterly looking image.
Enjoyed looking through all of the work Anas has posted. Love those animations. First class looking work.
Re: 1 November - Xara Xone Designer Pro Tutorial - Fun! Free!
Looks great Gary! I especially like the vine leaves effect.
I'm using an older version of Xara, so I can have a go at this one when I get a mo. (Do I notice a bit of a wine theme happening recently with this and your recent stereogram? ... Not that I'm complaining or anything.)
Thanks for all your hard work Gary.
Regards
Su

Well observed Su. Originally, I needed a repeating panel that was mostly grapes. I needed to create some grapes to fill in a portion of Gerry's photo. So, as so often happens, it turned into a tutorial.

I'm not too sure about the end result, but, I had a go and learned a few things.
You may find this strange but the best bit for me was on page 3:-
"This automatically converts the straight lines into graceful curves..."
I've never used that!
Thanks, once again, for all your hard work, on another great tutorial.

"'More haste, less speed"
Well, that's what I did with my drawing.
I tried to get it done before going out, yesterday.
So, I missed the fact that not all the grapes are showing their navels!
Thanks Gary!
So, I had another go at it.

very nice work Jose and Rik. I still have not gotten a chance to really get into this tutorial. I've kind of lost my creative enthusiasm lately.

The creative enthusiasm is still there, some days it's just a little harder to kick start it :)
