Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
And it works. That's amazing, Gary.
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
That is so cool! And now I've managed to figure out how see these both ways!
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
Ye Gods! I CAN SEE IT! First time. :-O The bottom one with my eyes-crossed and 'hovering'. I take it back about the conspiracy theory Gary:D
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
And another liar is born, I haven`t seen anything yet.
Could you please also put a picture of what I am supposed to see,
I feel left out :(
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
Can't see the top one at all Ankhor and can't guarantee I'll see any others! Look at the bottom one with crossed eyes then let the images slowly drift back almost together. There are two rings floating alongside each other in the center of the image. ;)
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
Look neodist, I know that other might see something, but it doesn`t matter
how I try, it just doesn`t happen for me. I don`t know what it is.
I also did coloured dot test, and I didn`t see the 2 in the 26 and the 8 I saw as an 3. so I also have colorblindness.
about 3% of the populous has it and another 3% in the other colour region. (I have red-green)
So there I can also see thing differently. It only shows that you can`t believe your eyes. ;)
(advantage is that you can see more contrast and better in the dark.)

test yourself ;)

I know, it has shown here before, but in he menu there is an option
to see what colorblind people see and designers could take this into account in their webdesign.
in the 'vision simulation.' as described here under 'design implications of colorblindness.'
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_b...olor_blindness
and another one

Hmm by all that I added it probably should go in the web section now :o
I'll let the moderators decide.
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
Didn't realise that advantage of colourblindness. I haven't been able to see any of the other stereograms - staring 'behind' the screen, letting it unfocus, nothing works for me, it's just one of those things. This one made my eyes ache so I won't be risking it too often - I'll retire while I'm ahead as it were.

Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
Here is a grayscale version of the stereogram with a small image that represents the hidden image.
You might also try the stereo pairs thread. These are less distracting.
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
I only just began to be able to see these with out using the cross eyed method. What triggered it for me was a reflection on the screen that drew my focus into the screen and I saw the stereogram for the first time the right way. I still find it easier to see them if there is a reflection on the screen. It also helps if there is a dark background behind the stereogram.
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
I can“t see it!
I dont know why, but i can“t see a stereogram, i found many stereograms, and just i cant see anything.
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
Try some of the Stereo Pair images Jose http://www.talkgraphics.com/showthread.php?t=45269
Relax your eyes and look at the two images until they become three images. The middle image will be 3D.
Re: Both Ways - Stereogram
This is THE FIRST TIME I have EVER been able to see these things and THEY ARE FANTASTIC!!!!! Gary, you are amazing!!!
I had to cross my eyes (it actually hurt) and then uncross them and the bottom one came into view and then the top one was there. However, when I looked away and then back again it was all gone.
