Nice car ron...
It needs some life. Maybe a young Anne Margaret in the front seat.
At least a garland of roses over the hood.
No, I think a nice Marilyn Monroe fanny shot is more appropriate myself!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Yea, what can I say, I think Marilyn is still 'da BOMB in the looks dept. I think Ann is was a real pretty lady but not in the same dept as MM!!
Hmm, I keep looking at the grill and it looks kinda "off" to me Ron, is that right on or.....?? Maybe a touch more perspective to it and it would be perfect??
Richard
You've done it again! Some American English translates very inappropriately to English. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif

What did I say now?? http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif Fanny, is that a bad word in UK English?? Or..... ?? Please elaborate Egg! Curious minds want to know!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
I will second that Egg, I have no idea what Richard said wrong.
What is the naughty word of the day?
ok guys,
here's a redo. Everything aspect of the drawing was as it appeared in the photo. However, I added some effects to the grill that weren't in the photo and of course the ribbon. Feel lazy, the ribbon is kind of a copout. But you know how you can get tired of working on the same project after a while...

The ribbon looks good. but it sure is a let down when we was expecting Ann or Marilynn... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
Hhhhhh... Oh well... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/frown.gif
I guess we gotta keep dreaming Richard. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
I dream all the time John!! All the friggin time!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/mad.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Not crazy about the ribbon but I love the change in the grill Ron, it topped off that polished look of the car! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Nice ribbon though!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Wonderful work Ron.
Richard / John
I couldn't possibly say in the forum. I'd get banned for life!
Ron. Fantastic image, the new grill looks great, but I don't think the ribbon works.

Just so you know fells.. fanny means, um.... a woman's kitty to say it in as vague a way as possible.
Should of heard the roar at the pub when my wife stated to the woman warming her rear by the fire "careful, wouldn't want to burn your fanny" We were all tearing up
So, as nice as Marilyn may be, I don't think a fanny shot would be appropriate for this image. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
I don't think anything is needed for the car. The car is the subject and the addition of something else will only detract. I will say that while your auto renderings are quite nice I have always been a bit troubled by the harshness of the shadows under the car. I might fiddle with that but otherwise this one is a winner.

I think we get the idea, Joe... Thanks for clarifying (I think... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Here I was thinking that Egg was referring to the statement about the "grill that was looking off..." http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif Sounded British (ala Blackadder) to me... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Ron said: "Let me think about 'the babe'. I'll kick it around a while..."
Might not be a real good choice of language there, Ron. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
.joroho.
Simple explanation: US on left, UK equivalent on right.
Kitty (cat) = Pussy
Pussy (er... ladies' bits) = Fanny
Fanny (harmless word for derriere) = Bum
Bum (vagrant) = Tramp
Tramp (woman of low morals) = Tart...
and so it goes.
Two nations divided by a common language...
You guys bust me up! LOL. Oh, oh, maybe that phrase was inappropriate. Sorry if I've offended anyone... Now I'm not sure what to do. Do Marilyn or not do Marilyn, that's the question...

I just can't leave this one for Richard... Sorry Dude... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
Do Marilyn... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
Do Marilyn... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
Do Marilyn... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
On the hood, on the trunk, Sheesh even on the kitchen table... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/tongue.gif
Now that was a no brainer... Shall I do Marilyn... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif
Sheesh, even Richard would do Marilyn. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Good info on the differences between the "English" speaking countries, rather funny (not fanny boys).
Yes, I probably would do Marilyn but of course in reality she it long gone and if she were still alive I think she would be around 80-something at this point so maybe I wouldn't do Marilyn!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Ron, I would be interested in your interpretation of Marilyn though, in her own illustrated image by none other than you m'man!! http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Hi Richard,
If he doesn't do her... Why don't you? You have much more tallent there my friend.
