Oooo.. Very nice shots Rich. We still have snow and sub zero weather in this neck of the woods.
Macro practice.
Rich
John , Rich greetings
we see the first flowers just missing the sun very grey here
We usually get just enough sun to start things thwing out and starting to grow, then we ge our deepest snowfall of the year.... Just enough to freeze all the flowers.
Oh welll each neck of the woods is a little different.
Macro HDRI. Very warm today and out looking for bugs.

Very Nice Hyathinth Rich! nice shot!
Shot on a very windy day.

Weeping Cherry. The garden us phasing the flowering trees.

Excellent shots Rich. Can't wait to see a flower or two. They where just starting to sprout when it started snowing again.
Macros from the garden.

Rich
Excellent macro shots. Would be perfect for greeting cards. Love the depth of colour in your photos.

I was going to shoot at the beach, but it was too windy. I brought a few weeds home and will set them up in my fixture. Well, a couple of old shaky tripods and a black T shiirt. I changed to F18 from F32 for a shorter shutter time.

I only make cards for birthdays and deaths. A lot less birthday cards now. Probably about three a year. About to run out of ink, anyway.

Rich - Love your textured work. Adds a lot of oomph to the originals. You say it is easy to do in XXP, mind showing how to a novice
Here is a perfect excuse to wake up early :D
Taken with Sony Cyber-Shot.

Sammy,
Start here. It would be better to ask questions in that thread keeping everything together.
Nice shot. I am too surrounded by trees to get any open shots.
Rich
Puff.

Very Nice Macros Rich!
I am still stuck in the studio. Have about 2' of snow in the yard, before drifting.
John,
Warm again today. We are expecting weather in a few days. With the forcast we get, that is about all we know.
Molucca's fountain on the front garden.
Rich
Fresia.
Rich
Very small lupin about 200 mils.
Rich
rich,
You macros keep getting better and better. I think you are starting to nail the DOF just right. Beautiful pieces!
John
John,
Somewhat beeezy. These were close to the ground and I had to wait for a still moment.
Germaine,
A few of the flowering trees in the garden. It is about 80F today.
Rich
You are making me extremely jellous Rich. I just have mud, snow and worries about flooding.
BTW: Your blossoms are great!
Weeds
Rich
Dang Rich... You make me so jellous. I think I going to go out and make me a good old mud/slush ball to toss in your general direction.:D
GReat shots BTW.
John,
Sunny, cold and windy today. Too dangerous in the back garden.
Rich
A macro shot of a flower held in a fixture inside the shed. We must be having 50 knot winds today. The light was going away, and I could only invert the flowers for them to be illuminated.
Rich
Buy a strobe or two, then you will have light anytime. I was shooting with 5 today. Lots of fun. Nice upside down flowers turned right side up...
The microwave oven turned into a strobe last night. Very pretty color. It is out till I get a wave guide cover. My medical expenses exceed my income, and if I don't have it, it isn't going to happen. Vet bills were another addition.
Rich
HEy Rich,
Have you looked into selling some of your shots at one of those photo stock sites? You just might make enough to buy a few asprin... You do have some very nice shots. Some of your dragon/flutterby shots might make you a few pennies.
I don't know how many fairie/woodland nymph/fantasy shots I have seen lately with really bad wings(homemade). You could offer your dragon wing/jeweled pieces as .ai files they would probably sell like hotcakes to pinup/fantasy photographers. You have enough stock on hand to a least buy a bottle of asprin from a hospital pharmacy...
I doubt that it would take you more than 5 minutes to convert some of your fancier stuff to 300DPI transparent background .psd files.
John,
Thanks for the thought. I'll have to explain the cost of medical when I get a chance. I thought I would look to see what I have made and kept. Seem the archive process made copies and there is a lot of sorting to do.
