I would post a shot of myself, but the grinch looks better... :)

firefox has addons for this as well exif and fxif - don't use them myself not being a photographer
probably there is one for IE7 but don't know
appear to be quite a few EXIF standalone readers around too
Yeh the Fxif is another Firefox addon for reading Exif. Ted Mielczarek just got cute with using the 'f' for Firefox'x'if.
Firefox is also a great browser and I use it a lot also. Opera just happens to be my primary browser which has most of what I need without requiring addons..
I recall an add-on for IE, but not free - yes found it, Opanda
As you say, lot's of viewers around. IrfanView of course has always shown Exif data from year dot (well close ;)).
Guys - let's keep things on-topic: Lilu's portraits :)
Lilu -- Thanks for posting the portraits. I like your self-portrait best. It seems to communicate that you have a quiet, contemplative, thoughtful, nature. It seems so peaceful.
I imagine the other portraits have captured the essence of those people too - showing more of them than just how they look.
Regards, Ross
You are so right Steve. I am so used to using xara to crop/resize that I don't even bother checking the stats of the pics on the net... Xara strips out that data... Maybe one year they will be able to handle pics a little better. :)
the main point is missing tho... What about the lighting? Flash, backlit, studio lights... Hmmmm, I guess only Lilu knows for sure. She was there.:)
Yes I suppose we veered slightly in order to determine Lilu's photographic equipment and mention ways to view her camera settings to gain a better understanding of her results and perhaps suggest other ways to capture different moods for her portraiture. Is all on the topic of Photography Ross :)Quote:
Guys - let's keep things on-topic: Lilu's portraits
They are very good photographs Lilu :)
Ross Macintosh, thanks) you see me))
raynerj1, Thanks) Sledger show you all information of my photos))
what about lighting, flash, backlight, studio lights I can answer you.
I didn't use any of them. I did all of photos at my room under sun light from my window. And you can ask me any question you want. I'll answer you)))
handrawn, Thanks))

Nice Kiddie shots Lilu. Are they related to you?:)
Beautiful pictures Lilu
John, Keith, thanks.
Only the boy, John. He's my son)
You are not old enough to have a son. Much less one as old as he is.:)
Lilu I really like how you've captured your subjects in natural light, this isn't as easy as it first appears. I don't know if you are being very aware of this at the time, or you have a natural ability to pick the right conditions without thinking. Either way, well done and please keep posting - we all enjoy seeing them. :)
Portaits are usually not my thing - don't ask me why I really have no answer. This doesn't mean I don't like seeing those taken by other people, such as yours, only means that I don't take them.
One thing I do need to ask you. Please would you reduce the size of your images to maximum 640 pixels in width? This makes downloading of the thread much faster for people on slower connections and far less scrolling for smaller screens. As a matter of fact, people using Opera web browser (such as myself) do not see your images stacked one above the other as Opera renders them inline (in a row). This means lot's of left-right scrolling.
If you don't already have IrfanView, I can recommend using it to resize your pics because it's fast (ctrl+R then choose the 640 radio button) and will retain the EXIF information for John (or I) to peak at :)
Many thanks
You really think so, John?)))) My son is 7 years old)) and I'm 29 years old))
As you see, I'm not so young)))
Thanks, Sledger. What about size of images.... I'm sorry for big size. I use Opera and Mozilla and see all my images without scrolling. Thats why I didn't know that the big size may be problem for many people to see them.
Hi Lilu,
You are just a babe in the woods compared to all us ole wolves... I would never have guessed 19... You look so young...
Women never tire of that phrase, no matter what neck of the woods they are in.:)
You just took years off her life with that comment John ;)
Guys may age, but girls want to stay at 15/16 forever.:D
As long as they stay limber, I will do my best to foster that belief in every lady.;)
Lilu looks under 19 tho... seriously. I am a expert. I have been looking at girls for years.:)
I might not be a lert, but I am definently a vert...
Yes, John, I'm look younger as I am. And it's very big problem for me.))))
Every time when I buy cigarets or beer, I must prove that I am under 18)))))
:(
Awe... but you will be so upset the first time you don't get carded. If you are anything like my 15 year old bride, the first time you are not carded you will start looking at hair dyes and face lifts... :)
Please return to topic thanks
Janna
another Nice one Lilu.
Thanks John)
It's great to see inspiring photography at TG.
I really like good portraits - thanks for sharing yours.
Thanks Sledger)
Lilu,
Brilliant use of natural light. You have a gift to 'catch' people in a beautiful way. I like 'natural' photos.
Rupert
Thank's Rupert)
Beautiful portraits Lilu. I find portraiture photography quite difficult so I appreciate the skill involved in these.
