It's an aeroplane, an Airbus A380, it was going to be a Boeing 747 but I can't do 747's very well.
I don't know what the font is. :D
Sorry.
Hi Salaam,
Hmmmm. :)
Attached is something that probably
required less effort than yours!

Bob.
Hey Bob, that's much more interesting.
I can't find where the 'p' is.
Please point it out.
Hi Salaam,
If you type out the upper and lower case letters in alphabetical order,
then the numbers and then the row of keys (upper and lower case)
above the "qwerty" line, in any normal font (say, Arial) you can then
highlight the whole lot and using the fonts gallery, scroll down to the
required dingbat font and double click on it.
It's very easy then to work out which dingbat corresponds to which
dingbat character.

Bob.
oh magnificent challenge Bob! just my sort of thing
do hope I anit broke any rules
it was real fun to do :D :D
Hi,
Here's my addition.
Now that is very clever Steve!
I particularly like the way the frame is fixed to the wall.
Extremely inventive. It made me chuckle.
No rules broken, not that it would matter if there were.
I'd like to point out at this juncture that nobody is
obliged to use all of the permitted tools.
I think the possibilities are endless.
I'm still messing about with dingbats.
The attached was influenced by TammyKat's
thread in the Xtreme section on exporting
line art to AI.

Bob.
Hi,
Thought i'd do a animated one of my chopperdude
BTW the trees and buildings are also fonts/dingbats
Hans
Good one Hans - like the way he squashes up against the edge of the frame before dropping off !
BOB - Thanks. The string and the nail, were a last minute addition - it was all just winging it fast - the way I like to work :)
Hi Hans,
I thought the original Chopperdude was great, but the animated version is brilliant. Again, really inventive. You guys certainly have a way with words.
Saludos,
Bob.
Thanks Bob and Steve,
I like the input of the both of you too
I like the idea of using fonts for illustrating.
Here in the 1900-40's there was an artist(H.N.Werkman) in my hometown,
who had a printing business and used the lead font to print illustrations.
He also was a journalist, writer, painter and a keymember of an art-collective called "De Ploeg" (roughly translated the team or the plow,in Dutch the same word)
During World War 2 and executed by the Germans, maybe he'd printed work of Jewish writers?
If you like to know more about this man,go here http://www.groningermuseum.nl/index.php?id=2329
Hans
Cool drawings. Great ideas so far!
This is a great idea for a Challenge.
PHP Code:

Hi Remi,
Please excuse my extreme ignorance in all matters relating to coding, PHP or whatever, but the font is Courier, isnt it?
At least when I went to google images before posting this, all the examples of
PHP Code on the first page were what looked like Courier.
Can you give me a simple explanation of PHP coding? Words of one syllable would be good, imagine you are explaining it to a 3 year old child. :)
Unless of course it's made up of dashes which you have manipulated cunningly into your name. (See how dim I am?) :o

Bob.
Hi Bob,
no problem: "PHP Code" is only a simple formatting option in this forum software, nothing more. Sometimes you want to show code in a post and then you need a simple code-section to format your text with "Courier" font, because it's better to use "Courier" to show tab indents within your code. So, you're able to create a new post and click on the icon "php" in the texteditor and this creates a short code section:
Attachment 41556PHP Code:
code section, formatted with Courier font
That's all. I just needed some lines with "Courier" font to show the ASCII art. My text has nothing to do with PHP as programming language. :)
Remi
Thanks for taking the time and trouble to explain that, Remi.
I've got it now.
Saludos,
Bob.
Font: Courier - different sizes, colours and angles

Hi Remi,
I particularly like the stylized sun in yours.
I've attached another, made from the dingbat
font Leaves, which has a potential for use as
a brush. I couldn't post the brush version here
because it would break the rules of the challenge
with the use of the Freehand and Brush Tool,
however I am in the process of posting a couple
of leaf brushes in the Xtreme Gallery.
Saludos,
Bob.
Lots of fun stuff here!
Hans,
Love the bike design! The animation adds even more flare to it.
Risto
Cave painting?
Fadgod is a display font which is fairly illegible.
This tends to defeat the object of its existence.
Could the attached give it a purpose in life?
I remember seeing the original star wars done in all ascii characters... if someone googled it they would probably find it...:)
my 2 cents
All of these postings are so cool! Inspiring... :)
...this was a bit of a raced job.... :D
Font: ARIAL
Characters: DPIUXmo=-/\ ( 12346780
Plain old comic sans. ;)
