I would not want to wake up with one of those in my bunk.
Bill,
You can sleep easy, I don't think there would be room for you and that in your bunk. :D
Saludos,
Bob.
There is a spider which "hangs" around in my studio down here and.... Oh, speak of the lil devil, there he is........... Oh, o.k., .... yeah..... now he's smiling at me....... (This can't be good)
Rich would probably like that shot... He has this thing for bugs I think... Takes good pictures of em tho...:)
what on earth is that!!!!!
The one with the soldiers (I'm assuming) It is called a "camel spider" They aren't really as big as they look in this picture..... But still big enough for me..... I get the Heebie-Majeebies everytime I look at it "I don't like spiders and snakes" (Jim Stafford)
How the hell does something that big hide in the fur of a camel?!!
As far as Im concerned, just looking at these "things" is prrof enough of "alien's"
That is a pretty funny looking spider that hangs out in your studio. Maybe a little more friendly than those Camel spiders. Dont let it bite you, you might end up like this guy. :p;)
Ok, may I ask what the hell is that thing!?!?!? Are those two giant spiders hung together, or is this a really really creepy one with many legs?!
I remember meeting a giant worm-like creature with many small legs. I don't know how it's called. It was almost a meter long and it was giant! I saw a cat playing with it and that thing bite the cat - the cat squealed like I have never heard before.
Those things live in the desert and I sure hope not to see one of those ever again.
Later on I was checking my boots every morning to see if there's no creep there :eek::eek::eek:
They are called "camel spiders" (and its two clinging together) Yet another form of terror the troops are facing over there
What you saw in the desert is most likely a giant centipede or milipede (nasty buggers, them)
Here is all you need to know bout camel spiders http://www.camelspiders.net/index.htm
Some more freaky things
Hey Paul,
How did you get a picture of me before I comb my hair in the morning?:)
hahaha!!! The other one was me when I got my first cell-phone bill (with text messaging use)!!!!! The one on the left is called an "aye, aye (or as we call him,John Rayner) The one on the right is called a Tazier
1. Camel spiders top speed - 10 mph. - that is damn fast!
2. Size: Up to 6 inches
3. They have no venom. - that is nice to know I will keep it in mind if I meet one.
4. They don't jump. another good thing to know. Good thing they don't fly :)
You should be afraid... very... very afraid.... :)
If this wasn't the Off Topic forum, I'd complain you guys are getting way off topic
WE were talking about ugly things until somebody brought up being off topic. Now if that isn't OT from talking about ugly things... :D
Now da boot is on da udder feet...:D
Egg.... you're so.... predictable...
Oh man, this threads gettin ugly..... Hey, any of you guys have any "uglies" to post?? And remember... "no exe's".... It just wouldnt be right.... (those you have to PM) ; ]
she isn't too ugly, but I still wouldn't want to meet this one in the dark...
It's that little red "X" on the abdomen that worries me!!!! Very nice Photo John (I assume you used a "telescopic lens") hahaha
The hour glass had me a little concerned... but she was posing just prefectly. Ran and grabbed my telephoto and snapped this shot, handheld and as close as I dared get.... if she would've moved I would've soiled my panties...:)
The Internet is an insane place (only had a connection since last December) I cannot believe I have just been to " Acme Camel Spider Incorporated-not-for-college-or-university-mythology-awareness-of-possible-horrific-reality website!?? And now I'm looking at either a Cow-eared Bat or a Bat-eared Cow??
Thanks for the Global Education. :)
