Here is my last attempt to make portrait.
Looks very good Dmitry.
Was the photo taken with a digital or film camera?
Did you use studio lights?
Beautiful photo work and absolutely gorgeous woman!
It was taken with Fujifilm S5600 in ordinary room fluorescent lights.
And it was strongly processed in Adobe LightRoom, and then background was polished in Photoshop.
Thanks, Drifter :) You will very surprised with her age. (Guess how old). Proper crop on photo can add few years to age.
It is just a girl, beautiful and she is very, very strong and smart. Probably smarter then myself :)
Lovely in both the girl and the photo work.
Dmitry you are very impressive. You make utility programs, do excellent artwork, and now I see you do great photographs.
Portraits done with room fluorescent lights are not easily created. Bravo!!
Dmitry, I have learned (the hard way) to never ever ever guess a woman's age...
Thanks. I just experimenting with differnent lights. I have selfmaded softbox and ordinary tungsten lamps.
The problem is that professional lights are available only in nearby countries - Russia and probably Poland. And they cost the money.
I will post original shot (mostly to prove the power of Photoshop :) and few other portraits.
Here is softbox light with tungsten lamp on opposite side.
Very nice lighting for the portrait.
Does your camera adjust for the colour variations caused by different light sources? Or, do you adjust the colour in Photoshop?
I set WhiteBalance in camera to tungsten light and make RAW shots.
Then I tune (if needed) color temperature in Adobe Lightroom.
And probably last shot to post from that session.
By adjusting the White Balance, using a digital camera is more like videography than cinematography. That is very logical and should have been apparent to me :o
Thank you very much for sharing your excellent portraits. And, your use of camera and light sources.
