Good evening ladies & gentlemen,
At the moment I have been making fishing lures and I just wanted to know if someone could help me with making a logo for my company. If you type in 'Murray Cod' on the Australian Google it will come up with this species of fish which I do alot of fishing for! I want some one to make a logo looking like that fish please.
Your company is prepared to pay how much per hour please?

Oh sorry! My company's name is going to be 'Wild Fisher Lures'. I have attached a logo I was trying to make. I want 'Wild Fisher lures' to be up top then the fish then "more Than Just A Legend'. I don't want that fish I want one that is customized.
To follow up on Raymond's question. How much do you charge per lure and how long does it take you to make one?

That is great ankhor! You have done one logo that I really really love! Could you possably change 'It's not the legend. it's the lures' to 'It's More Than Just lures!'? I'm at school ATM so I don't have much time. I'll have a muck around with xara tonight. But could you please change the writing?

take what you can get, or change it yourself. If you had to get
it commercially you would be looking at about 195 euro`s.

So here are two alterations.
1. "donationware" still stands, so I do insist that you DO give
a donation to some good cause. Nature reserve or watever,
since you like nature and fishing.
2. Give me some credit on the tackling site. Because I AM vain. ;)

Okay some more choices, you should have enough for all your needs now.
WyldFisherLures: Writing 'There More Than Just Lures!' would be very unprofessional because it's bad English. It looks like you mean it to be: 'They're more than just lures!'. Whatever you do, you should check it with others (English teacher etc) before printing.
And if they are more than just lures then what are they? Do your lures do other things as well? I doubt it. What I'm suggesting is you really think about the meaning of your slogans -- don't just pick one on the basis that it sounds to you.

Well it looks that this project is closed, didn`t hear anymore from
the person with the request.
I think that future aussie youngsters requests will
end up in the dustbin.

He clearly broke the second one, but He can answer the last poster

Ankhor, eventhough he's just a kid that's still not right, and signing in the forum clicking "yes" makes him a valid talkgrpahics member, if he breaks the rules he needs to be taken care of. I think it's cheeky no matter the age. I've brought this to the attention of the rest of the moderators/admins. This subject of "do me this for free" has already been brought up several times, maybe it's time find a better solution to it.

and I am a beginning one, so imagine how I will be in a couple of years.
But you have to know that a lot of work does get "stolen" without even
giving credit to the artist (and pay for the proffesionals.)
For me it was the vanity, yes that is a sin, and charity is a big thing for me.
A lot of needy people and animals and plants out there, so if I get a chance
to aid them in whatever form, I will do it. Or trade for it, like in this case.

Lachlan (WyldFisherLures) -- I saw how in that fishing site you posted the logo and told your friends there that you made it. I also saw how subsequently, when prompted to, you acknowledged ankhor. What I don't see is any real appology. And worse yet -- your attempts to get ankhor to help you further even after you took advantage of him.
I'm writing this because I hope you'll come to understand it was very unethical of you to take credit for anchor's work. It's great that you are young and trying to start a business but you really need to learn to respect the help others give you. Claiming ankhor's logo as your own work shows serious disrespect! He tried to help you and you take advantage of him -- is that how you intend to get ahead in life? I assume you don't plan to live your life that way. I certainly hope not.
Please think about how you've handled this situation. Please try to do better. I hope you have success in your lure business and I hope you get there by being ethical in your dealings with everyone.

Lachlan -- the terms of use were clear. Ankhor has said you can use the logo provided you abide by his conditions. You should never claim you made it because you didn't.
