Hi, I bring you some first pic of prepared XOX concept. Two day drawing and modeling...still basic.
Some picture of Auto-chair...now Im working on the interier. Uf, it will dificult... :(
Wow! can't wait to see the finished product.
hey hey, very nice wip here miress :)
some updates
Wow... like oh wow... this is a very nice looking machine happening here... I don't really like where they meet in the middle on the sides where the windshield meets the door area, but the rest is outa sight :)
It looks like a very good entry for the Peugot contest.
http://www.peugeot-concours-design.com/
Any plans on entering that? :D
Nurbs or poly modeling?
hi Grafixman,
yea, I know about Peugeot Contest, but this car is not piece of prototype, it is only modifikation of existing concept created by Hussein Al-Attar.
And I think that there will be really profesionals designers of cars on this challenge, not beginners like me. I think, noob works have no chance. It´s only my personaly opinion.
This is poly modeling, smoothed at finsih. But workflov is more exacting. Every parts wants own time. Hood, roof, inerier...etc.
When I finish this car, I will model it oncemore and make small video-tutorial. Maybe it will help somebody.
With regards
Miress
hm, still not like my conception :(
Miress, great job!
Does the prg you use put in all the reflections (etc.) or do you have to do that?
Hi Drifter.
Thank you a lot. Reflections are made with hdri. But it is not correct. I post some new renders. I play with lights. When I´ll prepare render scene, I finish car and do final render. It´s some work with it :) and time withou my wife :).
update, maybe final render
Hi everyone.
I post final render (for me). I know, that it is not perfect, materials and renders wants better....but I´m very happy for this results. I hope, this car find some friends.
With regards...
Miress, absolutely beautiful! :)
Looks just like the car I drive.
(not)
Beautiful car, Miress.
Huge speakers inside, too. The driver will need earplugs. Don't turn the volume up full or you'll probably break the canopy....:D
Just noticed something. No side windows. Might be inconvenient if you were to going to buy something to eat on a drive-through...
Thank you men...
Grafixman: side window :) yea...it is car for drive, not for eat :)))). Roof is open by hydraulic system placed rear of the roof. It is not practical car :)) I know. Only for drive. Everythnig in it is very modern, backward mirror are electronical, everything is electronical, seen at big display on board desk.
Just pulling your leg, Miress. It's really an example of excellent modeling and rendering. You said you used poly modeling. I'm trying to figure out how you modeled the seat. Complicated curves in there. Perhaps a wireframe and some quick summary on the process?
Thank you a lot Graphixman...Everything what you see, is poly modeling. And the seat too. I post you some wire.
Quicky summary:
- draw blueprints
- I use box modeling which one I separate at the finish. Half of model is polygon and hlalf is smoothed poly, where I see result.
- I usually start with body, when is body ready (roof, glas, lights, doors, backlights etc.) next are tires or something other. It does not matter. Anyway I return to previous parts and innovate them.
- When model is done, I prepare the scene environment, when it will be. When is everything ready I will go to assign materials. Carpaint, glass, lights, seats etc.
- Then I prepare lights and setup the render engine (usually Mental Ray).
- It wants a lot of tunning of Render Globals and trying and traying and trying.
- When is render done, I look if some postproductions adjustment are needed. When yes, open in postproduction software and make retouch, color correction etc.
- And at the end it look like it look :).
Very nice. Not complicated at all after seeing the wireframes. You take full advantage of the smoothing process. Thanks for the pics.
So the head and tail lights are UV mapped images?
So the head and tail lights are UV mapped images?
Head lights are polygons with very raytraced silver shader and tail lights are bump map.
Great Job Miress.
Miress
That is the one of the best, if not the best car drawing that i have ever seen.
It must have taken ages, but when you see what you have done i would say it is well worth it. :D
I will certianly be looking forward to you next master piece.
GREAT JOB !
Whiz Kid...thank you man, but there are better pics of cars....my is only basic knowledge of renders and lighting..
Nice model.
and the studio render is good.
Will you medel the engine?
thx, nice to hear this words from you :)
No, I will not model engine, it is time loss for me....I prepare new concept yet.
