Are you in the soup Simon or just canned?
Have y'all read or used any Chris Harts Cartooning books?
Okay Drifter, we need a can opener. ;)Quote:

Oh no! I feel another tribute coming on....
est-ce que une souris n'a pas des oreilles ?
Hungry, hungry
Okay, I know that drifter still hasn`t made the canopener, so you
are in luck, I had one here, otherwise the dog would have stayed hungry. ;o)
(and now hope that nobody opens a can of whoopass. :D )
No ears yet, but I've made a few changes. Guess my French grammar ain't what it used to be...:(
Now I'm really in the soupQuote:

Simon: I like your drawing very much. The version with the black background is my favorite, because of the black/white contrast.
Logo Kid: Your logo is great!

The logo for the rimless glasses continues. We are getting close.

Gary ... when it comes to designing logos I always think it's always better to steer clear of the obvious ... something that you would not normally associate with the company name ideas ... so to my mind having a frame and the german colours ... it's a little too literal for my tastes ... it's alway nice to have a little humour in there and "pervert" the concept a little ... ambstract the thought process ... I always prefer some illegal drugs or alcohol for this purpose ... but if you're more of a natural type guy ... then some exploring woods near by or a lake ... inspiration never comes to me when i'm in front of the CTR working ...
BTW I enjoyed the film 'Bullet's Over Broadway' last night ... said alot .. never seen that before.
Hi everyone. I don't usually have anything postable here, but finally,
I think this may work. I used Xtreme for some of it. Mainly did the
lines with Xara. Xara is very fun and I still haven't figured it out, but I
lurk around here occasionally. Maybe someday. Also used UGA5
and PSPX. Thanks for the forum.

While not completely done in Xtreme, here's a link to a Flash project I wrapped up last week. It's a mesh of several apps, but in the Financials section with the charts and background elements I used Xtreme. This is a simple example of Timeline design, not much coding. :)

This is something I tried using tips from Egg's video tutorial on extractions from photos and some other suggestions.
This is the first time I have ever tried uploading an attachment. Hope it's correct, the right size, the right format, the ahhh...well, here goes :-)

Very nice! But does that little girl in front know there is a ghost in the back of the wagon? Get a hold of Jennifer Love Hewitt - The Ghost Whisperer - she can help!!!
LOL! Good one Drifter. I need a look of surprise on the front girls face. That would fit.

I still have imaginary friends, I just don't tell my wife about them...
Bob don`t worry, we are real. ;)Quote:

1. I cant write in C++, so Im useless for Xara team.Quote:

But XPE sux.
A little something I'm cooking up for Wikipedia :)
Although just 150 Kb or so, the size in pixels is huge (it's a 256 color png). This is why I won't attach it here.
Instead you may click on it :p
BTW, nice drawings all! =) And nice program too, Dmitry ;)
Logo Kid, I understand your feelings. I'm a vector enthusiast myself and don't like raster either :D
Not even close to the real amount......
Experimenting with exporting vectors from Xara3D to XaraXtreme via swf to Flash & .ai to Xtreme.
I used an Armillary that I was trying to reproduce first created by Mike Sims in Xara3D.
The result is a total Xtreme Vecor filled graphic + wireframe.
As a side note it also worked for .dxf files. I don't know how well I don't have any CAD program to check.
Ah, one of my favorite Gary Priester's tutorial now. The waterdrop transparency. That diffusion of the white dot is worth it's weight in gold, I will use it often.
Thanks Gary! :)
Just more messing about with Dimtry's grid master app and then applying plug-ins
Not sure what this is or if I'll use it ........ just experimenting. If I do finally use it it will be in Flash so I can't use Feathering.
My brother (a Senior Lecturer at Sheffield University) has just co-authored a technical handbook - "The Little Book of Thermofluids, 3rd Edition", and asked me to provide the cover artwork. Here is the front and the back:
I like it. Good coloring, Egg.Quote:
