Here we go again fellow Xarians ... time to Stop working on that special project and POST a picture of it right here for all to see! Don't be shy ... and don't worry if it isn't finished ... if it's done in Xara we want to see it.
To get things moving ... here's a rare look at the only captive Xarafish in existence ... hope you like it http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

Derek,
Nice frog ... I've never seen one with wings. I like your ad as well, very busy but easy to read.
Here is one page of a 13 page presentation I've been working on. Tough to do without multiple pages and text tools ... but I was determined to do completely in Xara ... turned out OK.
-
Hey Steve,
Love the little birdies ... how many frames does that have? It just keeps going.

Here is my latest for the stop and post, not too happy with the result......big ideas not enough skill http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif

Tim
the flowers just need a little more shading and texture to them. The leaves a little more shading to give anything but the flat shape they now have. I think its nearly there just a bit more work on the modelling of the forms to give it a bit more solidity and definition.
The vase however needs a wider base... I just wouldn't trust it as it is, full of water standing anywhere I my house, especially with cats rubbing against everything.

Tim,
I think the Calla Lilies are very nice, although I did have to adjust my laptop monitor to see them properly. As far as your skill ... you have more than most of us http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
Derek,
The shape of the vase looks fine to me ... it's your CATS I would get rid of http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
Ahh Penny ... even your doodles are music to our eyes http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/cool.gif
Egg,
While others draw cars and motorcycles ... you go right for the BIG stuff ... very nice Airbus! Is this for an airport taxi or limo service?

Nice Drawing John... Very nice. Are you trying for photorealism, or just a nice cartoon?
-
Cartoonish....I'm not advanced enough for photorealism yet. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif

You are close enough to do an attempt... Pick a model and give it a go. You will be glad you did.

-
hi minimiro,
Very nice work! Did you do all this work so far this month? Did you use xara for all this also?
-
Yep
All showed are from start of April to now...
why you think I didn't come regularly here http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/wink.gif
All my projects are born first in Xara using its native tools and imported low-res rgb TIF or PNG files, and then going to clasical way... vectors go out like EPS, rasters (transperencies...etc) going to photoshop and there combining with other elements of design, photos (Also mine created with Sony DCS-F828)... and to the end all things combined (according to predilection of printing houses) in Illustrator, Corel or Quark in ready for exponation printing forms...
P.S. 10x
P.S.2. Signs that also created this month and that will be used in our future catalogue...
http://minimiro.dir.bg/signs.jpg
P.S.3. And may be 9 or 10 vinils printed on large format digital printer for outhoor advertising in BG towns... avcourse every time with diferent proportions and sizes :
Sometime files are ~4-500Mb and scratch size going somewhere about 4-5G :
But this is the real world, welcome... http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/eek.gif
http://minimiro.dir.bg/temp/vinil_122x260.jpg
P.S.4. Paint rollers Antares will be soon in USA and UK... be ready for http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif
