Same/similar color that I remember Chucky the Street Racer's '69 Nova was. It was an extremely low-geared 1/8 miler. Oh, those were the days...

Always enjoy viewing your car drawings Ron. Really like this one too. The only issue I have with it is that the red bands on the tyres seem incongruous with the rest of the rendering.
Actually you're right. The stock tires were plain black for the SS and the wheels I drew on this one would have been an upgrade from the very small and plain stock hub caps. I got the idea of adding the tires with the red stripes from a 1970 Nova SS with the Yenko upgrades in a car show put on by the Pasadena Police Department in Pasadena, California.Quote:

I honestly don't know Ron. I just find the red jars with the rest of your excellent image. Could it be the red is to red? I'd like to see it with raised white letters also, but I'd have to say if the white is #ffffff it would look wrong, it would need to be a shade of white.

Spot on. You have a great eye for things...... far better than my drawings, it's just sometimes, someone else see's something that's not obvious to yourself :)

It was a thread about colour charts for vehicles that you were having issues with. Black was turning a strange brownish colour???
Oh yea! I learned that the best format to download the color charts in is pdf, IF I can get it.
