For those who'll use the provided .png file instead of the .xar file, Wizard509's rules are attached below. (The same rules are embedded in the his .xar format file).

Rules...who needs'em? Sucks all the fun out of it in my opinion.
Bob.
Bob - it's funny that the Scribble inspired you and I the same way. Well, perhaps not the same way - is yours a self portrait too? :D

Ross note to self: Diet Starts Today!
Very nice Bob and Ross. I like them both very much.
Thanks Larry - Sadly, mine is a fairly accurate self portrait -- complete with my comb-over.
I used to have a comb-over too but now that is mostly gone.
Mine's now a Widow's Peak style, receding toward the crown of my head at an alarming rate - rather like Butch here, only more so!
(The ears are slightly less pointy, too.)
Bob.
LOL -- Sounds like a future graphics challenge could be to take pics of ourselves and add a cool (or wierd) hairdoo.
Bob - when I saw the Butch image my first response was to look for the scribble shape.
Getting back on topic, here's a graphic created in Xara with only copies of the supplied line + a background rectangle & the shadow tool. No other lines or line edits were used. Lines of various colours & line-weights were layered one upon the another with slight offsets to simply build up a glossy 3d appearance. That is perhaps more apparent in the zoomed in version. That 3d version of the original line was then repeated as a group many times.

I call it "March of the Army of Dilberts"
Just a quick one:
This was has an unintended stereogram effect!
That one jumped right out of the screen and nearly knocked my keyboard onto the floor! Once it came into focus, it wouldn't go away. Fabulous.
Bob.
not half bad for an unintentional effect! :-bd
Here's another head.Great scribbles this month btw.

The attachment upload process compressed the image down to about 50k, which seems a bit mean for a graphics forum. Never mind eh... I suppose it's only for a bit of fun!
Egg - I could see it with the cross-eye method. Many unsuccessful attempts with the nose to screen method only gave me a sore neck. :-O
Indeed, very cool you achieved that effect unintentionally. Egg, you may be a savant!
Jono -- great newts. I especially like the speckled blue one.
Thanks Egg, both very nicc. Jonopen yours looks very good too, thanks both of you.
Just 9 unchanged lines:

Acorn
Acorn -- Hey you drew my wife! :D (That comment is a tribute to the comedy of Henny Goodman).
Thanks Acorn, looks real good.
Done with help from a grandson. Probably a Dr Who purist wouldn't approve, but we like it!
I like it too Penny, good job. Are you a fan of Dr Who?
It's compulsory in the UK Larry ;)
Great work Penny.
That's great Penny (and helper). Dalek crossed my mind too.
Here's a close up of my earlier speckled blue newt/salamander.

Even cooler close up Jono. Well done.
Made another one using a spirographic kind of technique. The image has two duplicate wheel-like thingies. (Cloned>Offset>Flipped Horizontally). The wheel was created by pivoting copies of the supplied line using one of its endpoints as a consistent center of rotation. The pivot angle was consistent. The 'bump' on the original line ended up creating the 'tire' of the wheel. I didn't draw any other lines but did overlay two transparent four-colour filled circles. Their circular transparencies were repeating. By altering their relative repeats it built up a moire effect. Two rectangles were put behind and then all lines were changed to the white colour so they'd show up against the dark background.

Here's a zoomed view of the above image. At this level of enlargement all copies of the original line are cropped.

Love ot Ross, that's pretty cool.
It also creates an almost unviewable stereogram Ross with the centre points showing/hiding at a rapid rate.
here is what I saw in the scribble :)
Frances - your pizza needs more toppings! ;)
