it just leaped straight out at me

Thanks, handrawn looks good, I have done something similar but so far have not yet posted.
Love the Space Hopper HD.
Here's what jumped out for me.
self portrait? :D
had I but world enough and time I'd have made a bouncing gif, but I was really just filling in time until my ears stopped ringing [see my thread just now in dear xara]
by my fur and whiskers, so much to do, so little time...
Looks good Egg at first I couldn't see the scribble line but sure enough there it is as clear as the nose on your face.

Yep, same idea! When I was a kid I so desperately wanted one of these, I bounced around the garden for about a week. Didn't get one as I was told it would take up too much room in the shed! Another dream crushed. ;)

Here's mine.
I like that, Gary! Well done.
Here are two I had come up with one of which is remarkably like the one handrawn did so 1 did another good or bad it's different. Will I do a 3rd, I doubt it.

ernie I absolutely love it, but could you please show me where the line is because I cannot find it for sure.
No problem Larry, here it is:

Thank you, ernie, I studied this very closely but in fairness to the others I still do not see how that image can be formed according to the rules, but it is still fantastic. Do I look at all the submissions to find the line yes, but I have not always in the done so in the beginning sorry ernie.
i would think the scribble line is the petals... but I could be wrong - ernie has given a red line to show
Thank you, ernie.
Thanks, Larry.
Thank you, Penny love it.
Like that a lot Penny.
One of the first things I saw with this months scribble was if rotated 90 degrees it was a fish. So I've used the scribble as a fish and experimented using Acorns recent css animation thread.
Nowhere near finished, still doing my head in but it's fun:

More fish! (experimenting with textures).
When I was a kid 16 June was by far the most significant day of the year - the opening of the course (river) UK fishing season. Can't remember the last time I fished. Of course nowadays there's ethical and environmental questions to think about.

Excellent Jon.
Thanks Egg / Larry and all.
@Egg Really like the speed and fluidity of your animation. Btw have ever looked at animations on codepen? eg https://codepen.io/zadvorsky/pen/xxwbBQV
Looking back over my last few comments I do seem to be reminiscing quite a lot recently; “when I was a kid...”. (erratum: I should have said ‘coarse’ not ‘course’ fishing! ;)
Well, it is using GreenSock timelines and a lot of code, which underpins the need for Xara to consider upping its animation logjam.
A quick mash-up: Attachment 129872
Acorn
That's clever Acorn, I'll need to look at this if I get time. Almost like using a sprite.
Yes, indeed clever. My eyes glazed over the second I saw ".person:nth-child(3n+0) {".

Chuckle. Love the Acorn & Space Hopper character!
