Re: JPEG copying and pasting
So no-one can help at all.....???
Re: JPEG copying and pasting
Maybe when copying to clipboard the program match color space to you profile, then pastes it back in with the 'profile' colors. It seems to me that I had a similar problem a while back and I disable my colro profiles (whre Corel 'synchronizes' colorspace..try going to options color managements and either use sRGB space or disable and see what happens.

Thanks Scotty.
I have turned the profiles off and it has done the trick.

Cheers mate. Its my son! I took a photo of him, unaware of the plant in the background. It cracks me up every time too!
Glad you like it.

Bubbige, the bib should read "New Sprout" in honor of the green hair!
Re: JPEG copying and pasting
Ha ha ha sally, I might just get onto Photoshop and do that!
Re: JPEG copying and pasting
It is worth learning to use PhotoPaint, edits requiring a photoeditor are so easy to do in PhotoPaint.

Yes Sally. I have found (on the odd occasion that I have used photopaint) that it is very similar to Photoshop. Usually I do all image editing in Photoshop and import it back in to DRAW.
But you are quite right, to learn photopaint would obviously save a lot of time.
Thanks again,
Andy
Re: JPEG copying and pasting
When comparing PhotoPaint to Photoshop I prefer Paint (but I haven't used PHotoshop extensively) the main thing I find that is that Piant refers to objects and Photoshop refers as layers when importing PSD files with layers.
If you can translate this in paint you have half the battle.

Re: JPEG copying and pasting
I guess it just depends what you get used to.
I started using photoshop before I used any Corel programs so it is just easier for me. I find it great for adding effects to photos. I am sure the same can be done in Paint though (if I had time to find out!).
