Hi Bob,
There is a hidden rectangle around the visible object; is it part of the scribble?
TIA
Yes, so long as it remains hidden Fred :D:D
Yellow Brick Cul-de-Sac
PS Can't find rectangle, but there's a colour palette in the grey :D
Open the OG and expand the layers John.
Bob has created a rectangle on a layer (cunningly named 'forum background') using a common TG colour.

There's also a small rectangle on Layer 1, bottom of list.

Aren't scribbly's so much ........
I still love these line art drawings:D
Wow, excellent stuff Frances!!
kinetica,
If you enjoyed Frances' line art you'll really get tied up over in this thread, Xtreme String Art started by sledger.
I agree, very nice Frances!
Thanks, Bob, for taking this on...........here are some flowers to welcome you.....
this was fun to do:D
Very cleverly done Frances!
Here's my three scribbles. In each one I've blended the two scribbles over 25 steps. In each one the upper and lower scribbles have exactly the same starting position. The only thing that changes between them is the rotation centre of the upper scribble.
I love the effect :)

Very nifty, David. They vaguely remind me of the Slinky's® I used to play with for hours at a time when I was a bit younger.
Just trying this out........:)
Well, at least originality should count....
Do I have to have X5 to use this .xar file? It's not showing up for use in either of the two folders I saved it to. I'm still using XX4.
Double click should open it straight into XX4 :)
I was very surprised that no one had done a snake yet. Some components were borrowed from the Xara clipart file. (well the background, eyes and rattler). LOL

I couldn't make a thing that I liked but I like seeing how creative everyone else is.
Seriously - how bored am I????
Well, everything is made with the same shape :)
Rotfl!! How much fun that is. I've never seen a buck-toothed T-rex before (I need a rabbit smiley here :))
Thanks Nancy, I'm glad someone got a laugh out of it.
First thing that popped into my head when I saw the original.
Only in my head is was VERY smooth and neat.
On the screen it looked like refrigerator art.
I might as well post this since it's sitting here looking at me. Hope you don't mind me using your inspiration dogbert. If not for you I wouldn't be posting anything. I had called mine an alligator but it looks like a T-rex anyway. Perhaps our t-rexs can get together :)
I think your alligator bit my T Rex!!!
Lol, grrrrrrrr...snap, bite!
Just because we can.
A new drawing with the scribble.
I was inspired by previous posts I've seen where they use one shape, like an ellipse, to draw some amazing things.
The only difference with mine is that I never skewed or made them transparent.
Only resized and colored differently.
That would make a great challenge...having to use the same shape throughout the image. I think it would be hard but you make it look easy.
Have you seen the ellipse stuff done by Valery? It's inspired.
I've seen Valery's gallery but I don't recall ellipses....mostly people. He's amazing.
Here is the link Nancy.

that page does not want to come up on my IE6. I'll try it in ff or opera.
The page worked perfectly in Opera. Yes, I've seen that thread. I thought you meant a picture of ellipses. Did not know you meant construction with ellipses. I do not understand how some of this is created (ie- the calves have no ellipses, yet they exist) so I continue to be boggled by his skill.
Great scribbles, people. I confess that I have had great difficulty in coming up with any ideas for this one, so kudos to you all.
My submission is mostly my own work, except for modified Xara clipart for the bacon and egg. I don't even like black pudding!

Bob.
First attempt...
Welcome to TG chainfire.
