It is almost a cadeusus. Medicine for the soul of the artist, that is what Xara is.
sorry, Sally, I don't know what a cadeusus is--certainly speaks greek to me (literally) --ahh, but don't want to embarrass myself....
this is a really nifty imagination, Drifter. Great snake. Nice idea to get him twisting upward without a tree while maintaing perspective
as I continue to look at it, I noticed the black raised mat--for lack of words as to what it's really called. this is just my personal preference, but I would try something different for that(?)....and maybe take away the pins in the corners. In the end, tho, one's gotta go with what one likes
A caduseus is the name of the medical symbol that has a snake or snakes wrapped around an iron rod which is topped with the outstretched wings of an eagle.
Here is a link I found about the history behind the emblem if any are interested.

My meaning is that Xara helps the mental health of those who use it. Lots more fun than playing games to me. At the end of the day, it takes the "venom" out of my daily tasks.
ah, thanks for the education. and it is greek afterall.....(all my interest in greek mythology has paid off)
I agree, art's great for the soul !
I redid our scaley friend...

Looks really nice, Drifter. The muti-colored scaley is now a green grass scaley (oops, make that a green rattlesnake). The color scheme works well--better this time. Oh, you made it smaller, took away the 'corral' fence. More imaginative. Good job

Drifter,
You have posted many mind boggling images. I wonder whether you dream at night?
and more...
Hey, Ankhor,
Didn't think anyone actually read my posts. Rather got tired of posting. Nice drawing, BTW.
Drifter, you are prolific, careful, your wife will get jealous of that lovely lady named, "Xara".
More unusual...
A bit like my internal plumbing Bob
Ouch!!! If your insides look like that (other than at a molecular level) then you need to go to the Emergency RIGHT NOW!!!!! hahahahahaha:)
This is unusual.
Hahahahahahahahahahaha!!! :)
Dogone it! Egg. Thats very unusual. Is that what you call a Great Dame
YES Norman! A Great Dame. A cross between 2 images.
I know which one I prefer Egg and it doesn't eat chum or dog biscuits.
How do you know she doesn't???
cos I can see she doesn't have a tin opener handy, maybe you could draw one for her.Quote:
