A tale of two crooks! :D
Stygg
Very good Stygg. :D
I especially like the 'font police' one. (Makes me think there could be a 'grammar police' one too).
Both great but the font one is awesome.
I had a client who I coached in Xara Designer Pro X. She used Comic Sans for everything in spite of all my best efforts.
Two winners Syigg. You are amassing a good portfolio. Soon you need to start submitting to the papers.
:) :D
Following up on Gary's suggestion to get your cartoons published, I did a >> google search on cartoon syndicate submissions <<. I was pleased to see the results - that suggest syndicates actively encourage submissions. The submission requirements appear fairly standardized. That's good because one submission could be sent to the various syndicators without much additional effort.
I have been saying that Syigg needs to setup an Instagram account and post their and get a massive amount of followers. Then put out a combined book of all of these comics.
I do like Ross's idea for a submission for publication.
Oh and great job, loved them.
Ray
except I don't think stygg is saying he drew them
he's just posting them for laughs
they're by known cartoonists.

Most are by Jerry King. What's your intent Stygg in the removing the "King" signature?
From info in an earlier thread, my understanding was Stygg was the cartoonist... :-O Is Stygg's real name Jerry King?
pretty sure stygg wd have posted them in another forum if he was passing them off as his own drawings
this is off topic chat
No I'm not King, I just point the cartoons out but if this offends anyone, I will stop posting. B.T.W the cartoons are free to download and do what ever you want with them, and to answer Fred C's question, I had nor have no intent what so ever, so I hope that clears that up for Mr.C. I will stop posting these cartoons as I'm sure members can find, view and download the cartoons themselves.
Stygg
Love em Stygg.
oh dear...
don't have your source... but I am sure that is not intended to give licence to leaving out the sig....Quote:

Just to clear this matter up Larry, no I'm not the cartoonist nor J.King nor have I claimed to be but in view of all the comments in this thread I will, so not to breaking any rules, regulations or license laws as regards these cartoons, will not post anymore.
What I do object to, is a couple of comments were all but insinuating I was deceiving members of this forum and I well a sure you I was not nor had any other intent.
Stygg
it's a golden rule amongst creators that you attribute work you post up that is not yours.... if the work has a sig, that is basically done for you...
I'm sure you did not mean to mislead stygg, but it is obvious from this thread that, accidentally, you did mislead some.... unfortunate, but under the circumstances not the end of the world once put right ;)
ver 15 ..... :D
I wish you luck.....
If I were you Stygg, I would hold off upgrading to version 15 until all the current bugs have been ironed out. Version 11 works well, and I cannot see any advantage in upgrading just yet.
Bob.
I agree with Bob only more so - wait not only for the 'fixes' but also until there is actually something worth upgrading for, drawing wise...
it is after all what Xara [Kate] advised us to do...
i stopped paying for it with version 11
i've just downloaded 12
but i can't see any difference between 11 and 12
can somebody point me to a list of changes?

happy reading :)
i'm confused now, what then happened to 13 and 14 if 15 is out
i'm so behind
Big Frank,
There was no 13 and 14. When Magic started acting as the distributor of Designer Pro instead of Xara, they skip direct to 15. Xara develops and Magic distributes the software now.
Ray
I would also like to see them continue.
