Re: bathroom showroom site
One word: ELEGANT. Really beautiful and tasteful site.
Re: bathroom showroom site
Thank you Gary, the site is incomplete in some instances but we wanted to keep it as clean as possible, there is a future for the site to include more information on the home page, particularly in the header/hero area (special offers etc) but we will try and keep it clean as we can.

Re: bathroom showroom site
Very clean looking site cloud. Not a great lover of the parellex scrolling but it's not overused here IMHO.
One thing I don't like is the quality of some of the thumbnail images in the gallery page. Some of aweful quality?
Re: bathroom showroom site
Yes the photos are pulled in to the site directly from the clients facebook albums so there are quality issues, these are temporary and will eventually be replaced in facebook and therefore in the gallery page of the website.
Re: bathroom showroom site
Fine, just commenting on how they're letting down the site at present. Strangely though the larger images have no quality issue.
Re: bathroom showroom site
Just one of the drawbacks of webdesign, the good thing here is that the client is aware and is doing something about it. All the larger photos are supplied direct from the manufacturers so no quality issues.
Re: bathroom showroom site
Hi Cloud, this is what I call clean, simple and relaxing to browse. Very good job.

Re: bathroom showroom site
Thank you Roly, appreciated.
Re: bathroom showroom site
Nice job!
No outside shot of the showroom?
I'm really intrigued by the mobile showroom. I have no idea how you can do that well from a small truck. I'd love to know what it is!
It's really interesting that they've promoted that as the name of the business. It could be a very clever idea.
What's the story, Cloud?
Paul
Re: bathroom showroom site
Hi Cloud, when looking at your site I noticed on the About page in the text under Direct to your door the word comport, did you mean comfort? Also on the home page under Design/Planning there is I think one to too much.

Re: bathroom showroom site
Paul, they have a couple of suites set up in the van and also things like taps etc in there so that people can see the quality. Not really seen the van but it does look quite large. Roly, thanks for the spelling check. Will make that right asap.
Re: bathroom showroom site
Thanks Cloud.
Which was first, the mobile showroom, or the static showroom? It would be nice to think of someone starting out with a showroom in a van.
Paul
Re: bathroom showroom site
I think the van first, I think they aim mostly at retired couples in the north leeds and north yorkshire areas; i.e. rich people with no time to visit showrooms and not too taken with purchasing from a faceless online seller. Also most places around here are quite far from showrooms, for instance if you live somewhere like Addingham village you will need to travel to harrogate or leeds to get to a showroom selling nice stuff and that can be a two hour round trip.

Re: bathroom showroom site
Nice looking site... But how come toilet paper always seems like an afterthought?
It's missing in most photos... And the ones that do have it you have to be a contortionist to use it!

dutchim - This is a two year old thread that is now starting to attract spammers.

Not a problem, but spammers often post in old threads so whenever someone posts, especially for the first time, in an old thread it always sends up a red flag.
Re: bathroom showroom site
Simple and neat! Keep going!
