No problems here.
Disable all addons and see if that helps?
Hi Steve
I tried that and it didn't work.
I turned off protected mode in security and now links like the ones at the bottom of your posts work:-O
I cant leave that off though so i guess i will be converting to a firefox fan.
Aridzone have you tried keeping protected mode but adding specific sites to your Trusted sites?
In the past week I have experienced problems with IE8 on Win7 home 64bit where some sites I tried to go to would not come up. The message was similar to when my router wasn't up or the cable company was down. It only happened on certain sites. I would go to Firefox and the sites came up just fine. After rebooting, the sites would appear just fine in IE8. I suspect there might be an issue. I haven't had it happen in a couple of days and I have received a couple of windows updates so maybe they fixed it. Good idea to have Firefox, if for nothing else as backup if IE acts up.
Intelligent people are still using IE???
Hi Bill
It happens all the time so I would be adding sites all day.
Another strange thing is that I can right click and add the link to favorites then click on it from there and it works. I will just convert to firefox! Maybe they will fix it in IE9:-O
Screenshots of any errors you guys get would be helpful.
I have had problems with a few sites Yahoo.ca groups mail..this has happened since the last Windows7 premium 32bit updates..
Do you have 64-bit? I do and I cannot successfully use IE or Adobe Flash. After research it is the 64-bit, neither Adobe nor MS has fixed it last I tried (about early May) and it is a known issue according the the tech sites I had researched on. I have successfully used Chrome, FF and Opera, although FF keeps wanting me to install Adobe recently, so I have to go figure how to stop that.
I have had the odd issue with IE8 on Win7. I don't think it's a Windows problem, I think it's an IE8 problem.
I'm getting a error message each time I open Extreme Pro. IEPNGFix: Unclickable children of element: Has anyone seen this? and what can be done about it?
Yes, i have met the problom, it made me crazy, FF and Chrome work find, but IE can't work normally with Windows 7, i have changed Windows 7 into windows xp!
