Exellent sketch Valery... You need to get in the habit of signing and dating your work. How are we ever going to steal your work, unless we can get a signed print...:)
those signed ones are worth lots more...:)
Scan a signature and vectorize it... Then you can just toss it onto of your pics...:)
see attached
Never mind the sig - great sketch Valery
Okay, here ya go...
Your sig as a vector... Now ya just have to copy and paste it over your work...
Valery:
I like your sense of humor, as well as your wonderful sketch!
Best wishes,
David
Oh well.. I tried...:)
So is it next to Waldo or on the other side?
Great sketch Valery. nice to see it.
So Valery,
You draw with your signature. Must make it a "signature piece". Idiom in my language meaning "worth having", "limited edition", "unique", "one of a kind".
Of which it is, all of the above, but I have never seen anything except good work which you have posted.
How do you fit your head through the door, must be an architect too, oh well, why not.
Valery..... You my friend.... are an incredible artist!!!! And also extrmely crafty (with the 15 signatures).... I can only find 5 so far...... I greatly admire your work.
Valery is definently one of the masters...:)
Thank you guys.
This is a picture I've done about 2 years ago. It is also jel pen.
Very Nice... I like that. I have found that if you have the right pen in hand, the art just flows... some pens, are only good for writing, when you have a good pen... you draw until it is dry...:)
Wonderful drawing and another great example of your artistry.
I have been in Moscow twice and know that there is a treasury for a drawer, I wish I could draw myself, but the camera has been my tourist tool when I have been there.

B - a - utiful!!!! I have always loved working with pen & ink.... I would also then go over some of my pieces with light water-color.... The effect is extremely soothing.
Yes, absolutely. About 20 years ago, when I was a student, I decided to teach myself to draw without an eraser. This way I chose a pen.
Tourists usually have no time and so camera helps them to download more views. This picture takes about 2 or little more hours and then a rain started. So I have to add some strokes (and signature :) ) at home.
I haven't had a good drawing pen in years... They are mostly just writing pens... there is no feeling when you draw a line. You know you have a great drawing pen within 3 minutes of drawing with it.
A pen doesn't need to be expensive to be a good drawing pen. I have had good drawing bic pens, and lousy expensive pens. A good pen is an extension of the artists imagination. A bad pen is only good for writing with.:)
I had to go back and look for your sig... again it was hard to find. Any piece you post here in this forum is an advertising piece and so your sig needs to be bold and in a obvious location. Save the sig nucked away in the corner for the folks who will pay for it... just my lowly opinion...
Valery, another very fine sketch. Thanks for sharing.
Another excellent sketch indeed :)
Valery--- It is with drawings like this where the real artistry shows, others like me are just mere dabblers or copyists.
Hey Valery....
Just wanted to let you know that there have been many compliments on that piece in my home from friends and family ( I am surrounded by artists at all times, it runs in my family on both sides...)
Anyway, just wanted to say Thank You for your generosity... and beautiful work!!!
PS... I know it's late but... hope ya had a great "National Day"!!!!!! ; )
Norman, I think you are not correct. You are not copyist. Every line you draw is your original line and each shape is absolutely specific with it`s fill and outline.
I also can to say that every artist who paint landscapes or portraits, or still life copy what he see with his eyes and past it with his hands. :)
Val, you are amazing! You draw like I wish I could draw. It's not surprising to me that you hang out in that soda/coffee cafe (first drawing) since all of the other people there are women!
This last drawing... I would never have thought to leave part of the sunglasses white so that they look reflective. I would have simply colored/drawn them all solid black. Great job (as usual)!
It's things like that which make you so good at what you do.
Another Nice one Valery...:)
It`s my yesterday sketch. 25 march page was used just because it was empty :)
Neat sketch of a young person bundled against the cold.:)
That's another great piece Valery.
There's some excellent sketches in this collection Valery, I like your loose style! Lovely...
