Nice gesture from you to introduce the new team member, it makes better the atmosphere even for us users.
Last year I had chance to visit Hemel Hempstead by a business trip and spent there a free afternoon, it is a nice city with a river in the middle. Unfortunately just later realized that the headquarter of my favourite program is there in the Gaddesden Place. Although being not sure whether tourists also can visit that :D, but at so least making a photo about it
There's not much to see in the offices lol but the grounds are nice :) I'm sure you get a photo and a coffee :)

Welcome Stephen, I once had to support 16,000 international users single-handedly for 9 months and I was able to deal with AUS and JPN users early morning and western seaboard US early evening. Perhaps Xara can stretch their support hours to cover non-UK users?

Well not wishing that for Stephen :D
It is a cruel job a little bit troubleshooting cases at late evening or early morning in Europe, because the issue came from the other side of the globe. People have families who wait the worker at home :) Admitting that the globalization brought the need for such support, once had to work even at Christmas, but no thanks if possible. No money can equalize that
