The eyes:
Top - Joan Crawford
Centre - Felicity Kendall
Bottom - Margaret Thatcher
Saludos,
Bob.
Hi Bob,
Thanks for having a shot.
Interesting you've named all women.. (and that's not to be taken as a clue)
Try again ?

Elizabeth Taylor
Doris Day
Joan Crawford
:)
Hilary Clinton
Paris Hilton
Greta Garbo
:)
Looks like this one might be more challenging than the Historical W.W.W?
So I've moved it to it's own thread.
If no-one comes close soon, I'll begin to give some clues.
(Note: If anyone recognises any set of eyes which belong to one of their relatives, please PM me :p)
John - sorry, no correct answer yet.
o.....k.....
Now Bob, can you name the owner of each left eye and right eye pair? :p
1. Sharon Stone.
2. The lady that works the fish counter at our local grocery store.
3. Helen Mirren.
Correct Risto. #3 is Helen Mirren http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/icons/icon14.gif
Cool. Got one!
I went down and bought some sushi grade tuna for dinner tonight, so I asked her name, and she said Jenna Elfman...;)
So that's my guess for 2.
I just know that both are going to bug me. After picking Mirren, I figured Oscar winning actresses (or supporting ones) but nothing popped out for me.
Risto
I'm going to kick myself when I find out who #2 is. Those eyes seem so familiar, but I can't put a name to them .......... Well done with Helen Mirren, Risto!

To help with scrolling ;)
One miniscule clue I can give is that each person is NOT from the same country.
I agree... I know who it is... (or rather feel it...) but I'm just short-circuiting right now. I can't put it together... It's going to give me nightmares, or incredibly sweet dreams... :D It's very confusing.
I will kick kick you also when Sledge reveals the answer... :) ;)
Risto
1. JK Rowling
2. Porsche de Rossi
:)
Man! I was so sure. :)
Are we allowed to guess again?
1. Kate Blanchett
2. Barbara Eden?
That's all I got.
(the second is not Portia de Rossi? Spelt her name wrong in my first guess. That I thought I was sure on.)
Bob I'll forgive your spelling and award you the winner of #1 anyway.
Yes it's Cate Blanchett (not 'Kate')
Now we just need someone to 'eye'dentify set #2 :)
Man, what's with my spelling tonight? Cate, with a C. I will never forget that now. :)
Bob,
C or K...
You still got one! Well done!
So maybe it's award winners then?
#2 will hurt for me though... :( It will be painful - I just know it!
I might just have to travel to Aussie-land and teach Steve a lesson (in cooking steakes, drinking beer and needle-pointing) for torturing us like this. :D
Ok, somebody crack #2... Please! :)
Risto
I said it before in another thread: I'm dead certain that these eyes belongs to Charles and Camilla (left eye from Charles and right eye from Camilla)!
But I'm also sure, that Steve got extensive instructions from the MI5, therefore he will never admit it. :(
Remi
How about Lucille Ball?
It's strange, because I honestly thought that the 'middle' pair of eyes would have been the first to be recogn'eyes'd...
http://www.talkgraphics.com/attachme...1&d=1205896129
I'll ignor Remi as usual.. :p
Dame Judi Dench?
Saludos,
Bob.
Given that #1 and #2 have been eye'dentif'eye'd correctly along with the miniscule clue given in post #14 - I bound to reply with "nope - tis' not M" :)
Are they the eyes of iamtheblues' cat? Kind of look like it...
Oh no! Attacked by "Bob-the-slicer"
Hahahaha. Sorry. :o
Marilyn Monroe?
Licille Ball?
Sorry Egg.. The 'middle' set of eye's are still attached to the living...
WHAT! Marilyn's dead?   Lucille too
And if rumors can be believed, Elvis too.
Oh dear interest is waning - that 'middle' set of eyes have really flumoxed everyone. Perhaps it's time to reveal them.
A really good thread, Steve. It's amazing how many seem to tail off very quickly for no apparent reason. I imagine in this case it's because everyone paticipating had run out of ideas.
In the 70+ challenges, there are only 4 that have notched up over 100 replies, and let's face it, there have been some truly great threads.
Your mugswap is another, it's beautifully presented, it should flourish on a week to week basis. But it has a finite existence because once all the correct answers are in, it's goodnight Vienna.
Is it the short attention span of forum members? Possibly.
Personally, I'd like to see mugswap on a weekly basis.
I'd also like to see the scribble challenge on a weekly basis, too, as it seems to be very popular for about that period, but it does produce a lot of amazingly imaginative work.
Saludos,
Bob.
Unbelievable ........ Even "seeing" the answer, Bette Midler wasn't in my top 1000 answers. Obviously haven't looked deeply into her eyes.
Thanks Steve.
Good thread Steve :)
