Thank You!!
JIm
Glad to be of service Jim.
yay!!! no colour line pop up!
Thanks Bill
You are very welcome Frances.
That does seem to be a popular option for many people.
Thanks Bill!
What is it written in, BTW?
Currently it is written in Visual Basic 2008.
Future versions will be in C#, for no particular reason as all .NET languages use the same CLR (common language runtime).
I REALLY want to get rid of that ridiculous color line popup!!!
I tried to install XaReg and got this error. Anyone have an idea what's wrong?
Which version of the .net runtime do you have installed? Maybe update to the most recent version and try again?
Note: XaReg does not require any installation. It's a stand-alone executable.
Not sure what is version on Gary's site.
Zip says XaReg6.zip
Opening screen says 1.0.1.4 and bottom dialog says the same
Look in Control Panel >> Add/Remove Programs, you should see what is installed (if any) or just run Windows Update. If your PC isn't fully up to date, it should be listed ready for download.

In addition, make sure you have Windows Installer 3.1 installed before you install this service pack
Many thanks ... that colour line pop-up has been driving me [further] round the bend! :D
OMG Bill this is SWEET! Thank you very much for your efforts.
Much appreciated! :)
Mark...
Bobby, that error does indicate you do not have .NET Framework 2 or newer. Current version of the .NET is 3.5 for Windows XP, Vista, and Windows 7.
Thanks Steve.
JC, Gary has version 1.0.1.4 in the XaReg6.zip file. Gary always updates the shareware page before any announcement is made for a new version release.
Glad you like it Mark. :D
THANKS Bill & Steve.
You are welcome BQ.
Glad that sorted it for you ;)
