Glad it helps someone :)
Availor,
This embedded flv just stops at about 2min20sec for me and I get the PlayAgain screen.
That's strange...

Watching direct on youtube works just fine. I now notice just a white rectangle where the embedded link was in your first post.
Very clear tutorial by the way.
Thanks, doing my best to improve :)
The embedded links back and runs fine now.

Nice tutorial, Availor.
I enjoyed your tutorial, even though I know Xara pretty well, still benefit from watching how someone else uses the tools. Two thumbs up.
Thanks for the backup :)
I'm dying to finish with my current work so I can start making my tutorials website. I still need to perform a test on Gary's XaraXone tutorials.
If he agrees I will be making video tutorials from his monthly xara tutorials.
Enjoyed you tutorial as well, you sure work fast. I think anyone new to Xtreme would have a job keeping up with your speed of working and following what you do or maybe it's my slow old brain..
..........Norman
Thank you for that, Availor. It is fascinating watching someone else work. Two things would bug me: the ten clicks to the right and then back and THE ALARM CLOCK!!! :)
Just one point - why the hell is this in the obscure Off-topic chat forum??? This should be in the Xtreme forums!!
Moved to Xtreme and Xtreme Pro... hope you like the new location :D
Great Tutorial. I learned alot from it. Keep up the good work.:)
Availor:
Yes, thanks so much. Movies really can make learning easier.
I would like to see you and Gary collaborate in the future on processes or techniques that seem to be more of mystery to the "average", "less exprerienced", or "non-pro" talkgraphic members. For example (when the final PDF filter is available) the process of using SPOT COLORS, COLOR SEPARATION, ETC., .....
Perhaps, for the more complex subjects, there could be a graduated series covering a subject with some note-sheets as well.
Just a thought. Something like this could expand and elevate our graphics experience.
Regards, John
Availor,
Awesome tutorial.
Danny
Thank you all for the warm words,
Actually I've already spoke with Gary more than a month ago on recreating his XaraXone tutorials on video.
I've been going through the process of coding the videos so they take less space, and presenting them on a website (youtube has too small resolution so you see it very small. For less experienced users it will be much more difficult to understand it).
Once I have more free time (which will be.... hmmm.... don't know when) I will start this project of mine. I've been thinking about it more than half a year ago, just didn't have the skills and time. At least now I have the skills, more or less, to design and create small capacity high quality videos without my Russian/Hebrew accent :) (If you check on my youtube videos you'll see how I've started) :)
