by moving or editing Objects, objects will be duplicated automaticly. how can I stop this? this happend in WebDesigner and P&L Designer.

Assuming your mouse buttons are not swapped, left click, hold and drag moves objects.
Right click, hold and drag duplicates objects.
If your mouse buttons are swapped in the OS mouse setup, then I would expect the functions to be reversed.
I haven't had the issue that while editing objects they were being duplicated and a quick search of the forum hasn't had this reported.
first I checked this, because I know the function to duplicate objects by moving them with right click, hold and drag. this function already works.
Drag an object with the right mouse button and a duplicate is made when you release the button.

This happens to me all the time but especially when I am doing small adjustments to scaling, translating and rotating. I have learned to live with it for several years and through many versions of Xara (and many different mice, tablets and operating systems) and I don't know what I'd do without undo. I do believe I reported this anomaly in the forums and received a similar response but since it seems to be not a widespread issue (me and and now thee) the incredulity is not surprising.Quote:

I am not sure it is due to Xara. Anyway, in Illustrator for instance, I don't have this problem.
Moreover if I use my mouse, or the touchpad, or my graphic wacom, I have this same problem. And only in Xara.
It is a mystery...
I also have this issue of objects duplicating. I have just purchased Xara Web Designer Premium and I need to move some 'smart picture frames' but end up with duplicates whether I use the L or R button or the track pad. Any suggestions?
What would be the cause of this precisely? If i may ask that is?
