Based on an idea from a 7 year old Orange Challenge thread which has recently been resurrected, A4Hire (Bruce) thought it would be interesting to revisit the challenge for 2009. I agree!
But instead of just oranges, how about we broaden the range to include any favorite fruit?
One of my personal favorite fruits is the Mango, I drew this example just last year using only Xara Xtreme.

Ah great! I remember your fruit posts from before Steve, very nice. Those Mangoes look very good. And a nice Cherry too Mike. I will have to see what fruit I can come up with for this. Look forward to seeing everyone elses fruit too.

Haven't posted in a while, thought I'd take this challenge with one of several favorite fruits.

It is ages since I have posted and suddenly today I had some time. I think I cheated with this one compared to everyone else I used Illy to do this tomato. Because of the mesh Tool this was fairly simple and with swatches (type of named colour) made up it was just colouring the anchor points. Have include Outline so that you can see the wire frame.

A tomato cucumber sandwich? I never tried that one. Sounds good. It is a good looking tomato. So I guess a tomato is a fruit ? Is a cucumber a fruit ?

me too - though I would ditch the egg/tomato/cucumber/green stuff and top the meat and cheese with jalapeno and sour cream, bit of salsa maybe - probably no longer healthy and certainly OT if not OTT
