S-WEET!!!! Nice job Soquili I.....????? Hey, this crystal ball really works "uh-oh"....... I see someone breaking into your car.... and... yup, they've just stolen all your BEEGEE's cd's..........
No... that would be all his village people 8-tracks...:)
Neat Crystal ball BTW...:)
Hey...it was my Steppenwolf and Charlie Daniels 8-tracks :(
I'll miss hearing "The Pusher" and "Uneasy Rider" :p
Thanks for the comments Paul and John. Best we stay on topic...not good for a Moderator to be reminded to do so ;)
Good point... "By the way Soquili... I like the way you used the steppin wolf transparency to create the charlie danials effect on the crystal.... they are both awesome!!!!! I had seen the charlie danials effect used "live" once"
Neat, Bill. I tried one once but it didn't turn out so good.
ron
Both of em look good to me Ron, nice pair of balls.
Errr.... say nuthin' John... Say nuthin'
Dang this is hard...:)
Building on Bill's drawing.
Gary
Awesome Priester... I think it could do without the window reflection though...
I love that window highlight. It's so right out of every comic book I ever saw. :)
Gary
Ron and Gary, great crystal spheres. :)
I like the window highlight. It is a classic touch.
Thanks for all the comments, everyone.
Sorry Priester... I hope I have not offended you? I really do like the work. I have admired your work since I first came here and have learned alot from your tutorials... I am nowhere near your talent nor experience... (I was just wondering what it would look like without that ref.)
Paul
I couldn't open the old Ross file (the tutorial file), Xara says it is corrupted :( I really like this technique, so can anybody explain how to do this ?
Hi Marcia,
It seems the original link is corrupt.
I hope Ross does not mind. I am attaching his original .xar file here.
Excellent thanks Bill - thanks Ross!
Steve, I'm glad to help. I also put a non-corrupt attachment to Ross' original thread.
Thank you so much Bill :)
Marcia it is my pleasure.
Here's an attempt I made today. This is kinda fun.
ron
Ron, that is a very convincing crystal ball,
if you drew the hands as well, then the
whole shebang is truly awesome.
(It's awesome even if you didn't). :)
Saludos,
Bob.
Thanks, Bob,
The hands were photos of my own, just pasted in the drawing of the ball.
ron
Ron that is great. How did you create the cloudy effect inside the sphere?
