need to install old xara version on same PC

but now it gets urgent, ....



Is there a way to reinstall the old version of Xara next to this new one?

problem, is that i already installed Xara on a second PC (Corona Homeoffice) with the same serial.

I did open a old document and whith this new Xara and cant export it to PDF

ther are 9 pages on the document and i dont want to search around to any fillings,
which are breaking xara.


with the old (testversion) Xara ist works, but only for 7 days.

are you saying the old version is currently installed on two computers neither of which are the one you now want to install it on ?

the new Xara 17 is installed on two computer.


Xara Designer Pro X 12.4.0.47404 DL x64 Nov 8 2016 need to be installed on the same two computer too,
or the latest with no buggy pdf export.

ok but the version 12 has been installed more than once already right? and will now not install and activate, only runs as trial

if you log onto your magix account you should be able to go to my products and find that version and deactivate it from the computer[s] you don't want it on so you can activate it on those you do by clicking 'more details'

ver 12 may appear as Xara Designer Pro X365 in the product list, but it should show as version 12 on the details page

you have bought version 12 from magix or xara online?

if so then you will need to go through all the registrations until you find the version 12

if not that is a different matter

how often can i switch the Xara actication from Computer to different Computer?

if you do it from within the program on the computer you no longer need it on I don't think there is a limit

from within your account there is a limit but if you have not done it for a long time that should not be an issue (as i recall its about once every 28 days per version)

You can have all the versions of Xara that you've purchased installed on two computers, and not necessarily the same computers, just two computers.

Google "Magix Registration" and log-in using your email and username you used to purchase from Magix.

This leads to a page containing all the products you have purchased from Magix (plus the ones you may have purchased earlier from Xara)

From this page you can download the version of Xara you require and the activation code is displayed as well (blacked out in my screen grab)

unfortunately not.
Xara365 Xara12 Xara17 all have the same Serialnumber.

which only allows me to install two of them,
no matter which version,
and i think no matter what computer.

of couse magix could say, that 6 versioins of xara on one computer only count as one, but they dont.

click on deactivate to remove that registration - then you can reuse it on another computer - you have a maximum of two, but they can be any two

It is very strange that you have one version 12 and one version 17 under ths same registration - have you use the same product key for both, that would explain it - they should each have their own product key, so what you need is that second product key.. it is a maximum of two computers per product key
